In 1974 Chinese farmers discovered this historic site when drilling a well. Subsequently, a massive undertaking by archaeologists unearthed an astounding collection of terracotta funerary objects including warriors, chariots, horses, officials, acrobats, strongmen, and musicians. This "army" of objects was part of the grave of Qin Shi Huang, the First Emperor of China. The pits containing the army and emperor's necropolis continue to be carefully studied. The original site has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Exhibition showcases the progression of design, function and decoration found in pottery to reveal what it tells archaeologists about the Native American lifestyle, including how they adapted to changes in natural and cultural conditions.
