Lake Lanier gator nabbed

The three-foot alligator that has been haunting Lake Lanier for more than a month was captured Thursday night after it crawled into a homeowner's yard. The homeowner called the state Department of Natural Resources, which sent a biologist to get the gator, which the DNR said will be released into more accommodating waters. • Story
