Big Boi headlines free Atlanta show tonight

Big Boi is headlining a free show tonight with Jay Electronica and Yelawolf at Shriner’s Auditorium.
The show was kept under wraps until 4 p.m. today by orders from Microsoft.
Okaaaaay.
The “secret shows,” in Atlanta, Chicago, New York and San Francisco, are part of the company’s efforts to promote its new smartphone, Kin.
The phones, aimed at a youthful audience, basically let users go into social-media overload by combining their Twitter, Facebook and MySpace pages.
Microsoft deployed a chic marketing stunt and gave a handful of Kin phones to so-called “sociologists” and told them to tease the shows by dropping clues online.
“Midtown Atlanta” was one clue for Big Boi’s show. The rest of the information was revealed on Facebook at 4 p.m.
The Black Keys, Dead Weather and Asher Roth will be playing in the other cities.
