Rose & Crown Tavern The lunch crowd in the Windy Hill corridor has made this new venue a lunchtime destination. There’s plenty of fast, affordable pub fare and entrees with an Irish spin such as fish and chips. Sandwiches, burgers and traditional appetizers fill the bill. Don’t mistake these traditional Louisiana treats for snow cones. Owner Victoria Sanders serves up such finely shaved ice that it’s more like savoring flavored snow. Each snoball is made to order with natural flavors such as squeezed lemons, organic green tea, coffee and organic cream, Hershey’s chocolate and organic fruits. New flavors are added each week.
