Pimp C of UGK Found Dead
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Pimp C of legendary southern hip-hop duo UGK is dead.
Details are still emerging, but according to our confirmation with his record label, Jive Records, and a statement issued to the Associated Press, the rapper (pictured above, on left) was found dead in L.A.’s Mondrian Hotel, a long-time music industry hangout.
“It is with great regret that I must confirm that Chad Butler aka Pimp C, one half of the legendary UGK, was in fact discovered dead this morning,” publicist Nancy Byron said in the statement. “Manager Rick Martin is asking that everyone please respect his family and those close to him at this time and refrain from rumors and innuendo.”
As Atlanta Music Scene bloggers may recall, UGK recently won a best collaboration BET Hip Hop Award for “Int’l Player’s Anthem (I Choose You),” with local duo OutKast. And at the end of the ceremony at Atlanta’s Civic Center, Kanye West tried to give his best video award to them for the single; but Big Boi of OutKast declined.
Pimp C’s Atlanta connections don’t stop there. UGK, including his partner Bernard “Bun B” Freeman, recorded “Front Back” with T.I. And he had a lot to say about the city in Ozone magazine; after which he conducted this interview with Atlanta’s Hot-107.9. LISTEN HERE
UGK hit the mainstream with their cameo on Jay-Z’s smash “Big Pimpin’.” Though the duo never enjoyed the pop-chart success of some other rappers, their 1996 CD “Ridin’ Dirty” is considered a rap classic.

Living in the fast lane!
They havent said what or why.
But you can’t live the life 24/7. It’s called “show business”, that’s how entertainers in the day managed to perform for decades. Because, they had a life at home, and then the show biz personality that the public saw. And the two did not mix. You can’t party like a rock star 24/7.

Our community needs a rivival. This is serious. We complain about racisim, but do absolutely nothing about the problems within our community. It should not be commonplace for young black men and women to die from violence. We all should pray that God has mercy on our souls and bring a revolution in community.

HIP-HOP!! a life style? a death style!! so many young folks say the hip-hop is a way of life, but i see it as a way of death. the life style promotes/encourages violence. promotes sleeping with as many women as you can (A.I.D.S.) if this is what you are apart of this is what you get. Most of you are have signed on to pay your respects and share memories of Pimp C, but it’s evident that there are those of a lighter hue who get on here all the time just to leave derragotive, demeaning and racial comments. If you’ve never heard of someone that just died, why would you say something like WTF? That question alone speaks to the ignorance of some people. Pimp C rest in peace!

Look, if you don’t even know the man, then don’t make comments. Some of you are really stupid for making such comments. You make even the worse rappers look good. No matter what his lifestyle a YOUNG MAN is dead. Imagine this was one of your relatives and act accordingly. It’s called respect for the family; something most intelligent black people were raised to give to the families of the dearly departed.
As for some of you others, Big Pun died of natural causes and most rap artists are hardly of the age where they would die of natural causes. That still doesn’t give you any reason to assume it was drugs or murder! At least you can “act” like you have some sense!
Peace! And I mean that!

RIP To PIMP C My condolences go out to Bun B and Pimp C’s family.
Despite what Pimp C said about Atlanta not really bieng a southern city, I still got love for the dude. I grew up on UGK in the late 90’s, and this news of Pimp’s death has my heart heavy right now. UGK’s “Ridin’ Dirty” was like my personal theme music back in the day. UGK and hometown bois OutKast are hands down the best rap groups of all time. Its sad that a talented dude like Pimp C has left us, and its also a shame how quick people are to condem his death as another example of whats wrong with hip-hop. As of right now we dont even know how he died, he very well might have died of natural causes. So lets not be so quick to judge the man unitl we hear ALL THE DETAILS!!!!!!!. All the focus from the media on music these days being the problem, when movies like Scarface, GoodFellas, and New Jack City influenced me way more than any rap record ever did

To the person who stated that UGK is not legendary….you may not be a fan of their music….but anyone who’s not a hater has to give respect to how long UGK has been in the game and dropping nasty hits! In response to those that are unclear on what “we got to do better” means….there has been insinuations that there was a possible overdose. That’s what these rappers that have much influence over our youth need to take into account. Thanks to my people (of every race), who have posted a comment to offer genuine condolences for a lost life. That man had babies, was someone’s child. May we all learn to appreciate life a little more everyday and appreciate the presence Pimp C had. Lot of Love and comfort offered to you Bun B.

Boy that’s a stage name I’d like to have as a role model for my young brothers, to instill positive motivation, to be a respectable individual, to be someone to look up too. Also, please let me add that I agree with everyone who has stated that it’s too early and certainly not fair to speculate. At the tender age of 33, I am just saddened that we lost another legend (yes I used the word legend). So metaphoric and sooo realistic in his talk. A lil nasty too. That’s what we need to do. Smile about what he brought to the rap game. REAL TALK!

I find it humorous that all of you idiots who listen to gangster rap, with its degrading messages towards women and promoting violence, are praising God and that crap. Do you think God would approve of such behavior? Think about it, if there is a God, maybe he killed this thug to prove a point. Since God is all knowing, all powerful, he took this thug out, right? All I have to say is thank God! As long as you black morons keep acting like thugs, you get what you deserve.

Yes, a son, child, black man has lost his life, but, HE CALLED HIMSELF PIMP C!!! When you label yourself, you might be remembered by that label…He might have done good in our community but due to the music & lifestyle, we may never know. That’s why some people on this blog (including me) are making light of his death….He was talented but what I heard, he only rapped about material things, gangsta, women as w** (black women)so good riddance to another pimp bringing the black community down! Any other so-called pimp, gangsta, thug, etc can get in line right behind him.

In most careers, management lives into their 70s and 80s and often do not retire until they are in their 60s.
This means that those behind them have to wait years to gain the rewards they seek.
In Hip Hop, wait a few days and there is another opening at the top and someone else moves up.
Only in America. What a wonderful country.

Pimp C and his lyrical skills will be missed. UGK are truly Southern Hip Hop legends….legends period. Before T.I. and Jeezy, there was UGK,Outkast,Goodie Mob, The Whole Dungeon Family/Organized Noize, Eight Ball & MJG,Ghetto Boyz,Scarface, and others. If you’re from the South, then you know what Trill means!! RIP Pimp C.

Anyone with a daughter, a sister, or a mother should have an issue with anyone calling themselves a pimp.

“Pimp C”? Is that supposed to be a good name for someone? And you stupid people buy CDs of people with names like that?
I am signing off from trying to bring forth a change in the Black community. I cannot kill myself trying to get the rest of folks to stop acting like fools. How many more Black men have to die? What is wrong with people’s minds!!! Not everything that is wrong with the Black community is whitey’s fault.
Too bad the guy lost his life, but…why even have a nickname “pimp” anyway? Like breeds like, and you are known by the company you keep.
You young folks can say ‘no’ all you want, but hip-hop, rap etc, is a MAJOR problem in the Black community. Since it came into mainstream, decency, decorum, respect, proper attire, language skills have gone down and murders, disrespect and more have gone up. Stop it! Without proper education…a hopeless people. Martin did not die for this.

Pimp C: Rest in peace.
What the heck is up with the insults? If you ain’t got the balls to say what’s up to a black person’s face concerning the degradation you abhor, don’t shrink to cowardly status by using the blog. You are gutless, deserving of an a** whooping.
To my beloved community, we must find the solution to the problems exacerbating the village. Some people of other communities want to help our cause. Ultimately, we must be the problem solvers. There are those who hate us, no matter how positive some in the village are to society. Later for the haters. Let’s find peace before we’re insignificant to America.

We have to account for our own sin’s someday and we all were able to watch his life play out in front of us. The Question is “What if your life was accessible to all to see.” What bones are in your closet that only Jesus knows?” This was a soul that died at a young age no matter the cause. The Lack of Love in the World is very evident when people make mistakes Christ says still come unto me. “He didn’t come to HEAL SAINTS but SINNERS and GRACE and MERCY was gave to all Humanity ” RIP Chad Butler aka Sweet Jones.

Sorry about his death but I never heard of him. Why? Because I stopped listening to (c)rap a while ago. It’s become a wasteland of regurgitated nonsense. If anything, I long for the old days of true hip-hop. this text will be bolded = I am very sorry to hear about Chad’s death. But I really wonder about the main thing that comes with death: did he give his life to Jesus Christ while he was on Earth? I only hope and pray that he did. To anyone to reads this: Jesus is the way to heaven and eternal happiness! Don’t leave this side without having a personal relationship with Christ and giving your life to Him. I promise, you will be very glad that you did. My prayers go out to the masses that are affected by Chad’s death and I pray for the Lord to come in and comfort them. God bless everyone!!

I remember Pimp C from way back in the day. Country Rap Tunes and all. Sad to hear that another true Rap legend is gone. That’s right I said “RAP” not hip hop. Down south we rap, we dont hip or hop. From DJ Screw (the real king of the south) to Spice 1 (the East Bay G), we are self destructing over nothing. Krakas are laughing at us. Wasting out money on bling and worthless junk. We have enough money to buy Atlanta and the entire state of Georgia. And for those who get offended by the words we use, you can jump if you stupid, you are only upset cause we talking about you. Embracing the salve religion that still has you enslaved mentally. Proper living is what society has brainwashed you to believe. First of all making music is nothing but a job. The youth should be raised from home with parents. Unless you are a dead beat. So if I was working for Enron and took over a billion dollars of your retirement, not see a day of jail. I guess then god has blessed me. Yup, god has blessed me with your stupidity. Just like you play the political games at work, sucking up for a check when you should have your own to begin with. I grew up on UGK and they were truly legends in my aspect and era of hip-hop. The south’s pioneers and trend setters. The game was molded by them. Pimp C took his mind and experiences and put it in writing to shed the life that most don’t see into a hip-hop picture. This is commemoraded as a legend. The views I hear after the death of a phenomenal rapper on this matter discussed me. questioning there legend stature. They made rappers who they are by their influences. They inspired me to be an entrepuer, not in the since of what was being said but to pursue life. This is also commendable to their legend standard. Whoever that does not recognize that is a hip-hop fool and needs to got to hell. The storys he told betrayed indepth portrayels of the streets and the culture of what a lot of blacks go through and the struggle, success that is expected to come about in the journey on the path’s of a black man growing up in poverty and wasn’t blessed with the oppurtunity’s that most have. Give respect and put Pimp C in history in your minds and hearts. He was everything and more to me for hip-hop. He is a fraction of hip-hop. Leave it there. If what you say is contradicting to this, check yourself and others who think the dumb stuff you’re thinking. It’s called research.

I have no idea who Pimp C was but with a name like that, all I can say is good riddance. One less thug rapper is only a good thing. Rap is poisoning today’s society with it’s message of earning easy money by pimping and whoring and selling drugs and showing disrespect for authority because it’s cool, and don’t even get me started on the so-called English being used here. Once again, MLK is rolling over in his grave at what the black community (including his own family) has done to his legacy, and I don’t expect this will be the last time.

At first, I thought is was a prank or a joke, but to realize it was reality was shocking. Its really sad news in the hip hop nation. He and UGK(Bun B.) will always be remembered. I grew up listening to them and loved all their music. I still play some of their great classics in my ride. Pimp C and Bun B mastered mind UGK into a group that will always be remembered as True down south Kings. “Pimpin ain’t dead.” R.I.P. Pimp C.

“We complain about racisim, but do absolutely nothing about the problems within our community. It should not be commonplace for young black men and women to die from violence. We all should pray that God has mercy on our souls and bring a revolution in community.”
This is true but why pin it on RACISM? This has nothing to do with racism. Even if he was killed, which we do not know yet, it was probably another black man that killed him. Black on Black crime is rampant. White on Black crime hardly exists. Don’t pin this on the White man.

After reading almost all of these blogs, I can answer a question a lot of people are asking-Why are whites so quick to judge how he died?
Simple-every other rapper I’ve known over my lifetime has died due to drugs/alcohol/shootings. It’s funny to see so many blacks write that they need to ‘come together’ to change their image…START WITH YOUR OWN KIDS!! Jesus, when Bill Cosby blasted the black community a while back, you would have thought some people might have listened to him.
Oh, and as far as this group being legendary…who are they? If they’re so legendary how come i haven’t heard of them? I though UG K was something to do with Universit of Georgia! Oh, but how many rappers are actually college educated, what’s that lame-@$$ saying you use-MY BAD!

To Joey G, whoever and wherever you are… you couldn’t possibly live in Atlanta and have never heard of Pimp C or UGK. Despite your negative comments, Pimp C IS, in fact, a LEGEND… who, along with several legendary Atlanta artists, has helped to put the South on the map and give us a name in Hip Hop. If you had of taken the time to actually read the above article, you would understand that although UGK has not gained the same mainstream success as other Southern artists, their “Ridin Dirty” album is considered a classic among TRUE rap fans… and clearly, you’re not one…

The last time I checked, freedom of speech was still a right in this country. If you don’t like his lyrics, or any of the lyrics on the airwaves today (hopefully you’re including some of your favorite rock tunes in that), then you’re also free to not listen to it. In the meantime, it’s completely atrocious that your condolences, or lack thereof, hinge upon what he said in his music…which is still actually a form of entertainment, believe it or not. If you can’t respect the man at least respect his family enough to put a sock in it.

First of all let me say that I am sorry to hear about Pimp C. When I did listen to Hip-Hop I was a UGK fan, my husband is from Houston and grew up listening to him so it came as a big shock to him. We pray for comfort for his family, friends and fans because whether he was a sinner or saint, God loved him just the same and it sad to know that Satan was allowed to take him out early (make no mistake God had NOTHING to do with it). Second as for us wondering where is God He is right here, always has been always will be. You are waiting on God but God is waiting on you, He’s done His part already. Don’t know what you are suppose to do? Read/study your Bible, go to a good Bible based church and learn! Stop blaming God for your problems and look in the mirror because we choose or own paths and if you disobey a simple commandemnt or refuse His love then you are bringing (most) of your problems on yourself. As for the rest of the drama, they are not saying yet what killed him, so stop speculating. Whether he was murdered or died from other causes, this is a wake up call to the black community we need Jesus and He is waiting on us to admit it. When we do and we apply The Bible to our lives then His will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Amen

Black crimes make the news more than white crimes because they are more violent. I’ll be the first to tell you whites break the law, too, hell i have once. But here’s the difference-whites usually don’t kill as many people. White crimes usually involve ripping off companies of millions of dollars-you have to be smart to try that. Black crimes involve usually pulling a trigger, anyone can do that. Black crimes are more televised because PEOPLE DIE!!! Who is this Tim guy, and what did he do??

A writer by the name of “LOVE” wrote “God, we need you NOW.” God is here, has always been here, and will always be here. I find it difficult to believe that those people who use names like “Pimp C” are true 24/7 Christians. To begin with, “pimp” does not go along with the Christian belief. Along with that, one who puts forth this liftestyle of pimping, with a song title called “Big Pimpin” is certainly not glorifing God. I would suggest he is doing the opposite, and helping the Devil in his cause. Please, people, wake up to this. This is a hedonistic lifestyle of his. God asks us to live for Him in all we do and all we say, and all we believe. I fear that “Pimp C” may not actually be with God right now, but perhaps somewhere else. God does not want us supporting lifestyles that encourage loose morals, alchol, drugs, sex without marriage, and violence. This will offend some, but only those who are uncomfortable about this subject, and do not live out a Christian lifestyle and strive to be more like Christ. After all, WWJD?

If you didn’t grow up in the South, your first exposure to the Underground Kingz was probably the Jay-Z song ‘Big Pimpin’. By the time that record came out they were already legends in the South. Just because they are not from NYC doesn’t not mean they are not legendary. UGK and 8-ball & MJG paved the way for rap/hip-hop artists coming out of the South.

You people are crazy!!! People want to blame every violent act of crime or just about all negativity on hiphop music and the hiphop community. People make it seem like if hiphop music was banished then there would be no violence, no crime, and our youth would be perfect. I was raised on hiphop music. I have a college degree, have never committed a crime, and work for a commercial real estate company. I still listen to hiphop and it has had no effect on me. Wanna know why??? CAUSE MY PARENTS RAISED ME TO KNOW BETTER!!!! That is the real problem in todays society…..its not the music…it is parents are not raising their children. They are letting the music, movies, and television raise their kids. With that type of mentality from the parents, no wonder our children have such a bleek future. RAISE YOUR KIDS!! RIP Pimp C. The hiphop community will miss your contributions.

I’m tripping because when was it ever reported that his death was due to violence??? Some people need to comprehend on what they hear and read and I can tell that most of you don’t. It has been reported that Pimp C died of natural causes and was found in his hotel room fully clothed after his family was worried that he had not responded to any of their calls. He had just done a show at the House of Blues with Too Short. This had nothing to do with Hip Hop or being a rapper. This had to do with him and his maker and it being his time to go. Everyone has a time; we just never know when or where it will happen. Pray for this mans family and not use his name in vain to make yourselves feel good. Good Bless…

Ok Joey G, I need you to SIT DOWN! I am from College Park and UGK is widely known throught the “A” as well as the south, but they are UNGERGROUND, you know, UNDER GROUND KINGS??? So speak what you know, no one is inflating anything. “Being” from Atlanta is usually all inclusive of the surrounding cities so, being from Atlanta does not mean you know what is going on. Most of the activity happens in the tri cities; college park, east point and decatur. Atlanta is a small area that gets all of the attention. So quit frontin. RIP Pimp C!!!….

That is why the city is “going to hell in a hand basket.” Instead of whites moving to Athens (unfortunately there are plenty of blacks there), we wish you blacks would all move back to Africa where you came from. Pimp C and the rest of you haven’t changed one bit, regardless of money, from the savages dancing around fires with a spear in their hands…some things will NEVER change.

hey DD,
I know the school shootings were mostly white, i know the Oklahoma city bombing was a white guy, too. Gaurantee you 10 to 1 that more people on the streets of ATL are shot by blacks than people who died in that bombing or those shootings, though. When people snap and go off the deep end like those guys, there’s no avoiding it, it’s going to happen. But petty murder to steal a guys shoes or because someone cut you off, that’s not someone snapping, that’s somone who’s too ignorant to let things go and cool off a while. Oh, and look at any survey on prison populations, what race commits more ‘violent crimes’?

His high pitched delivery was one-of-kind and always complemented the smooth, bob-your-head beats. The style this cool cat brought to the game has often been imitated but never duplicated. I’ve been a UGK fan for years and I became a bigger fan when I read about Bernard tutoring Chad in high school to help him graduate. My heart truly goes out to Bernard because his actions demonstrated his true and unconditional love for Chad. Pimp claimed he wrote country-rap-tunes and not hip hop, but I say UGK was a pioneering hip hop duo. Sure they wrote adult-entertaining, untamed, Triple X, rock-out-with-your-c**-out lyrics, but they were creative and unique unlike some of the garbage that gets airplay these days. Funny that Chad never wanted the mainstream attention, he was content with being an Under Ground King. That’s what made this dude RAW. The Pimp did it for the people in the street not the airwaves. It’s obvious from this blog they had a loyal fan base and new younger fans as well that may not have seen the evolution of UGK. Hopefully there evolution will get documented in a proper fashion. I hope Chad got to experience all the pleasures of life he desired before leaving this chaotic world that he often wrote about. My heart, love, and prayers go out to Bernard, as well as the Butler family, friends and fans. We all mourn this sad loss of a man that was talented, driven, creative, and unique.

I’m glad you’re trying to make a difference DD, it’s about time someone did. Mr. Cosby tried once, but no one listened to him. I hope people listen to you…to see the youth of our nation actually believeing in some of these lyrics of music (yes-MUSIC, not just rap)is absurd!
Overall it boils down to parents-always has and always will be. If parents condone things like drug use, violence, then their kids will, too. And this applies in all areas, from the trailer parks to the hoods. It’s unfortuante that some people don’t place emphasis on their kids to learn to read and write. And what’s worse is that people aspiring to become rappers are going to have a hard time rhyming words when they can’t read a dictionary. That’s why so many words are completely made up. “I can’t rhyme a word with fizzle…hmmm…i’ll make up a new word-fishizzle!” That’s completely dumb.

Let me say first I had never heard of pimp C , but when I heard it in the news and mentioned it to my daughter of course she knew who he was. My heart & prayers go out to his family & friends. I know how they must feel right now. I lost my 23 yr old son (B. North) two years ago right here in the ATL to black on black violence. My son had a demo out yes it was(rap) and he was out there in the drug game and God only knows what else , but I agree with you Kemmet Ali before Hip Hop there were movies like Scarface (white hollywood puts out) and I know for a fact that movie and others like it influenced my son early in his life before he knew anything about Hip Hop, but we also have to take a look at the black family and whats missing there We need to stop going back and forth about our community problems on the ajc blog u know the white haters get a kick out of it. Let’s get together and stick together and come up with solutions in our community. Please wait to hear the cause of death!!!

I see a lot of you are quick to jump to conclusions. Black man dies, especially a hip hopper, it must’ve been violently. To a certain degree it’s somewhat understandable - that’s what the media would have you believe -that most black men die violently.
Nevertheless, please go back and re-read the article. It explicitly says Pimp C “found dead.” Even though the details are still developing, please know that if there were any inkling of a possibility that he was actually killed, the media would be reporting it as such - ie, Pimp C Killed, or some other similar headline - if for no other reason than to continue to propagate the notion that black men, especially hip hoppers, die violently.

First off, I am a 33 year old african american mother of 4. So yes, I know his music.
What I gather is that some of the individuals posting messages here are not paying attention to the facts. He was “found dead”. He was due to check out of the hotel on Monday and when his family did not hear from him, a phone call was made. It was then that he was found fully dressed in the hotel expired from what is being called by the first reponders as “NATURAL CAUSES”. Where is this black on black crime coming from?????
Maybe you are mistaken the situation with Bay Area rapper Spice 1, who was shot while sleeping in his car outside of his home.
Either way, someone has lost a child, a brother, a father, an uncle, a friend. Rest In Peace is what I have to say.
People need to stop ALWAYS assuming the negative.

I just sat here and read through a few of these blogs…. and what I am noticing is that people are again spectulating.
Just last week it was about “Sean Taylor and the lifestyle he lived that ended his life” - only later was it determined that “it was a robbery gone wrong”.
My grandmother passed away last year at the age of 71. She smoked cigarettes up until she was in her 50’s - are we to assume that “her lifestyle” caused her death???? Come on now, be for real.

How could you come onto this blog and hate on a man that is dead? Whether you liked him or not, please respect that this brother just lost his life. It doesn’t matter how he lost it or what he did for the 33 yrs of his life. Most of you haters didn’t even know Chad, you just knew Pimp C. Rappers sell their life to the public so that you go buy their albums. Most of them aren’t really what they rap about. That tells me that all you losers run home to watch 106& Park, and then think that you can pass judgement on these guys. Who cares if he could rap, or what he rapped about, the fact still remains that he is dead at only 33. Most(not all) of the haters are from up north anyway. They can’t help it, it is in their blood. They must find SOMETHING to hate on everyday. Just ignore those losers. RIP Chad Butler.

Regardless of color or creed, all unclean souls will burn in hell… The racism and the evil comments are ridiculous. I see that racism is not dead among blacks or whites. If you didn’t know the man shut the hell up if you did they give your condolences and move you. Most of you are taking the time out of your schedules to see who can be the nastiest to one another… Seems like a lot of you are lacking things to do! RIP to the man who passed away and my condolences to the family.

antb,
dude, shut up about white people. hip hop is a primitive form of music, plain and simple. that’s why you have the primitive hip hop artists with their primitive lifestyles promoting primitive motives and creating a degenerative environment for today’s youth. then, when a stupid NINJA like “pimp c” dies, it’s supposed to be a tragedy? his death calls for celebration.

Well, you asked the question, so I’ll answer. I honestly couldn’t give a s** one way or the other about this guy. However, when “SO SISTA AJC” saw fit to put that picture up, I couldn’t help it. It just portrayed the typical NEGA in the idiot garb that all you monos (monkey in spanish) seem to love to wear. Then the flood doors just opened right up: Why the hell do all NEGA Women think it is sexy to weigh 180 and still try and fit into a size 4 pants? Do you people not understand that all that s** you are shakin is just fat and cellulite???? What in the hell is sexy about that? Why can no NEGA in Atlanta master the art of cruise control??? What is the NEGA problem with multi-tasking? They can rap and hold their pants up at the same time, but have no possibility of keeping their foot on the accelerator while they are fiddlin wi da bass maka.
Sexy, I’m sure you are a graduate of wunu doz fin black colleges….du wun u Kan fale n….and I’m sure you are pushin 200 lbs and still tryin to squeeze into those size 4’s you used as a preschooler….(lookin good baby….eat a nutha snikers)

to zombie boy and B. You got it twisted once again white trash. I have never been on any type of government program and I know who my father is because I talk to him everday. B, I’m sure your father is probably your uncle because white people are known for inbreeding. why don’t you go and sit on the porch of your mobile home(double wide right?) and smoke the same brand of cigarettes you have been smoking since you were 5(you know you people start early) and try studying for your GED, because I think this might be the year you pass. and stop complaining about affirmative action, because one day you are going to make manager at the local dairy queen I can feel it.

Instead of questioning black females, you might should be wondering why your flat assed white girls are trying to get butt implants to look more like us. you might to ask why your pale-skinned snow bunnies are spending hours at the tanning salon to look more like us. and you might want to ask why your thinned to no lip having white chicks are getting lip injections to look more like us. and you might want to ask why do white girls think it is OK to walk around in public bathrooms without any shoes on and why are your children always soooooo dirty and why do 80% of you have hair lice and why don’t you guys put your hand over your mouth when you sneeze or cough and why do you people think it is OK to have sex with animals and why do you people live with sooo many cats and why do all your house smell like kitty litter( I guess that would be because of the cats) and why are ALL white men intimidated to black men and why do you people really think that you can live anywhere we can’t……..B, which I’m sure stands for Bitch, you may wanna try messing with a hispanic because I am not the one. your turn.

B And last but hopefully not least, because I am feeding off your poor white trash ignorance. I went to a WHITE school. You know, the kind of University where everyone cheats on the Pharmacy test and it makes front line news. The kind of school where tuition for one semester is probably more than you see in a year. No finacial Aid, sweetie. and then I went and got my SECOND degree at a historically black college.

I am sorry to disappoint you honey, but I don’t have any children. but I’m sure the kids you have with Becky Ann(who also happens to be your sister)can’t wait for you to come and pick them up in the Chevy, you know the one that has the gun rack in the back and the I love Bass fishing bumper sticker. Answer this question for me Bubba, why do you high school drop-outs like to ride around with UGA tags on your pick-up like you ever stepped foot anywhere near UGA, except for a game that is. just for the record Bubba, I drive a BMW. if you are looking for work Bubba, I need a good yard person. But it is deer hunting season, so you probably won’t be available.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU ALL FOR TUNING INTO THE LIFESTYLES OF THE GAY, WHITE AND ANGRY. I HAVE HAD A BALL PLAYING IGNORANT WITH THE SOME OF THE GOOD WHITE FOLK OF THIS HERE BLOG. BUT ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE A LITTLE CONFUSED ABOUT HOW WE GOT HERE, LET ME TAKE YOU BACK A BIT. THE BLOG WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A PLACE FOR FANS OF PIMP C TO PAY THEIR LAST RESPECTS AND COMMENT ON HIS DEATH, BUT UNFORTUNATELY WE HAD A FEW PEOPLE WHO ARE UPSET BECAUSE THE CHAIN AROUND PIMP C’S NECK COSTS MORE THAN THEY MAKE IN A YEAR, COMMENT NEGATIVELY NOT ONLY ABOUT PIMP C, BUT BLACK PEOPLE IN GENERAL. STEREOTYPES,STEREOTYPES AND MORE STEREOTYPES. WE GOT THEM RUNNING SCARED AND THEY DON’T KNOW WHAT TO DO. I GUESS THE OLD SAYING IS TRUE,”THE ONLY GOOD CRACKER IS A DEAD CRACKER”. I’M DONE PLAYING. Sexy1977… i’m trill2death@yahoo.com Lets shoot the breeze sometime!
I will surely miss the cleaver, witty, and trill lyrical style of Mr. Chad Butler aka Sweet James Jones aka The Pimp aka Pimp C. Sure they wrote adult-entertaining, untamed, Triple X, rock-out-with-your-c*ck-out lyrics, but they were creative and unique unlike some of the garbage that gets airplay these days.
I’m pimpin’ through the ave. tryin’ to see some good But everythang is still the same in my neighborhood Niccas frown when you up and smile when you down And when you change for the better shife fools stop comin’ around I see the jealousy and hate, and the wicked ways We all lost children, praising paper, smokin’ our lives away Got to the point where I could not decipher day from night. -Pimp C of UGK-“Diamonds and Wood”

It saddens my heart to read all the comments here. I too was a ugk fan before God saved me. Please know that if you don’t believe that the Father crushed the son for our sins, so that we may know and have a relationship with God then we are lost in deed. Attention! God hates sin. To truly be a Christian, we must follow Jesus commandments. Dont get it twisted in you pratice sin, you are not a Christian. That little prayer you might have said one day, do not make you a Christian. There is not resting in peace if you died in sin, do not be decieved. We have to look at things like this and REPENT AND BELIEVE THE GOSPEL…. If you were listening to UGK, as of today, it’s a good chance you are not saved. Dig in the scriptures. I pray that God move on everybody who read this to get closer to him, but especially Pimp C family. Wake Up! THis is a warning indeed.

Dr Chronic,
I have a problem with anyone that does not tow the line, and then blames it on anything other than themselves.
Good ol’ sexy there….good example. She starts out in this blog talking about white folks, how bad they are, etc.
So why is it that EVERY predominantly black county in Atlanta has: 1. Highest crime rate 2. Highest rate of school drop out 3. Lowest income per capita 4. Lowest home value, no matter what the values were before black folks were introduced.
If white folks are so bad, smell so bad, etc….then why is the black community doing so poorly in comparison?
If this were true, then why has my home value doubled in 7 years? Why is the crime rate so low in my county? Why do more children graduate from my child’s predominately white high school? Why do children from this school system consistently score higher on the SAT’s? Why is income so much higher per capita in my predominately white county?
Tow the line people, don’t make excuses, “Da man is keeping me down” quit working many decades ago….should now be “da man I’m looking at in the mirror is keeping me down”

Its time to sit back and reflect on life. Everyone has chose the wrong decisions and sometimes you have to pay the price. Once you’ve paid the price its time for reflection and prayer. No matter what it is. Its important that our community not just blacks, but everyone living in your community from the chinese people at the store, to the arabs at the gas station, to the spanish at the stores, to the whites all over and the blacks all over, its important that we appreciate each other no matter how mean someone is. God watches everything and he hears everything you say. We all need to eat healthy that can cause a short life, also smiling and laughing that keeps you healthy, exercising is also a plus. No one knows why he died, but we always want to keep fond memories of him. He’s always been a great rapper and a positive person. No matter what someone goes to jail for just know that doesn’t make him or her a bad person. We all make mistakes and theres nothing you can do, but face reality and go thru the problem. With that said everyone from the Pimp C’s family, to Bun B, to the south, God be with us all. For everyone argueing above this comment needs to look at the big picture. Death doesn’t discriminate against race, religion, sex, so while you all are argueing understand that Go dis watching and he’s listening. There shouldn’t be anyone on here argueing because the point of our comments is to pay respect to the community and the family of Pimp C. And somehow we always loose focus because we prefer to entertain the devil that ignore him. God Bless you all as my brother and sisters, no matter what race or religion you are. God Bless us All. Peace ya’ll- God has a better plan for Pimp C so hold your tears and keep your head tot he sky. Peace ya’ll
