Help Jermaine Dupri Pick A Winner

Yesterday BET announced the nominees for its third annual BET Hip Hop Awards — and that it is returning to Atlanta’s Civic Center Oct. 18 to put on the ceremony. And starting today, you can have a hand in a BET Hip Hop Awards activity. Not only is the show coming back, but its “Hot 16” online contest, a joint venture with BET.com, MySpace and Atlanta hip-hop mogul Jermaine Dupri. From today through next Wednesday, users can vote on the five finalists for the challenge — on BET.com; though Dupri will pick the winner. The prize is an in-studio session with Dupri and a “VIP trip” for four to the 2008 BET Hip Hop Awards. Planning to participate? Know of any rappers on MySpace that you think merit such notice? What winners do you think Dupri has picked, recently?

Wow aren’t you hatin, He is bringing money into Atlanta by being involved and having the Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta. This is the reason us black folks don’t have a lot of things and the one that has a lot usually don’t keep it long. This man have been in the business a long long time why don’t you just show some love and help one another instead of putting out the negative stuff.

I like rap music don’t get me wrong.I think “all” these rappers need to put some time and money (which is all they rap about and what they have)back into the community our black males have no role models to look up to except for fast money,NBA,NFL players and everyone can’t make it, but the next place seen to be is jail.HELP YOUR YOUTH!!put some of your bank into the community instead of makin it rain!!!
