While part-time Atlantan Janet Jackson’s scheduled “homecoming” this past weekend was postponed (until Oct. 19), Newnan’s own Alan Jackson did return to his home state Saturday, performing at the Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park.

No idea about Alans show , but we had a blast at Kirkwoodstock. Fine food , drinks and great music and only a fraction of the price of Alans show. Too bad your smug reporters can’t can’t report on other great shows….ya big dummies.
