Sugarland — The Movie Trailer
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
The business of politicking for a CMA Award sure looks like fun, in Sugarland’s hands.
SEE BELOW what the Atlanta country duo’s label sent out to voters, in hopes they’ll pick Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush in the many categories they’re up for Nov. 12 — and tell us if it’s a winner.
(And if that’s not enough Sugarland fun, CLICK HERE for the CMT red carpet game where you can dress the twosome).

Don’t care for Nettles. Her voice is grating. She fakes the country in her voice. Some of their songs are good and some are terrible. Not my type of country music at all. In fact the majority of what they call country today is not country. What happened to country music?

The country in her voice is not fake…this girl is from S. GA…she claims Douglas, GA, but I heard it’s really Nicholls, GA which is near Douglas…she also claims Atlanta as home too…but fake is right…I’m tired of Sugarland too….I’m not denying their success, but come on, country music sure isn’t what it used to be…some of the new stuff is good, but who can’t deny a Hank or Charlie or heck even a little George Jones or Strait

Ridiculous statement.
She’s country to the core. Her JNB work is coated drenched in ‘country’. Listen to ‘By the skin of her teeth’ or ‘El Camino’.
Like many young, educated adults, she may have tried to tone it down earlier in her career. Up to a point in her career she probably wouldn’t want to be categorized.
Her voice is unique. Those who love it can’t get enough.
Be kind.
