The Best of the Big A returns!
The accessAtlanta annual contest evolves this year into a new format enabling more conversations around your favorite metro Atlanta restaurants, venues, getaways and more. We will roll out a new category for nominations every couple of days in our new Best of the Big A blog. You may nominate as many as you like in each category. Nominees will be collected until 7:30 a.m. Sept. 3, 2008. Nominees will then be ranked for voting, which will begin Sept. 8 with winners announced Sept. 17. As an added incentive, we’re giving away 20 small prizes to participants. Nominate early and often, and come back to vote!

Rosa’s Pizza on Broad Street is amazing. It’s only open weekdays 11-6, but it’s worth rushing home to pick-up your order. The white pizza is the best I’ve had anywhere. The pizza by the slice is also very good with great toppings and generous sized slices.

Say whatever you want, but one of the hottest little spots in all of Atlanta is THE CHOCOLATE BAR in downtown Decatur on West Ponce De Leon. I divide my time between Miami & Atlanta for business, and every chance I get I like to stroll through The Chocolate Bar. It’s a quaint, romantic little place that is the ideal location to meet or take a special person! And their variety of specialty chocolate-themed drinks & desserts are on a level all their own! Check it out…you won’t be disappointed.

Village Tavern is a great place to bring the entire family! Their kids menu features sophisticated dishes like salmon and pork chops, rather than the typical chicken fingers and fries you see at most places. And their World’s Smallet Sundae is perfect for every child’s sweet tooth!
