Where is the best place to watch the Super Bowl in and around Atlanta?
Many of us might be staying home to watch the big game, but there’s something to be said for that communal experience you get by watching the Super Bowl in the company of others.
Of course, it helps if there’s a seemingly endless supply of food and drink to keep the party going. We asked you where you planned to watch the game and you answered. Here’s where Atlanta will be watching the Super Bowl, according to our readers.
We’ll be watching, too, so we asked around and gathered our picks. These are the places where our staff likes to take in the Super Bowl.

I’d say at a friends house who is catering and has a better TV set-up than I do. DVR is preferred.
I disagree with Taco Mac. The Mac is good when there are multiple games on and you can watch a couple at a time. If you are only watching one game it is best to do so at someone’s house.
A better question is do you have to be over 40 or grow up in South Jersey to understand why the NFL is so excited that Bruce Springsteen is playing the halftime show? Were Men at Work and/or Toto already booked? At least that would be funny. I guess we’ll be rocking out to Born in the U.S.A. at halftime like it was 1984!! Awesome!!

I agree about the Bruce Springsteen comment.. who the hell wants to see Bruce Springsteen at halftime???.. At least give me something a little more exciting. I wonder who does demographics research for the NFL because they should be fired ASAP

It would have been in Buckhead before it was levelled to nothing. The old Fado Irish Pub was a great place to watch it, the new one is OK, but lacks the character of the old one and feels too much like a museum.

I am watching the Super Bowl in Waikiki for the 2nd year in a row. After the game I am hitting the beach again. Heck, who am I fooling, I’ll probably hit the beach while Bruce Springsteen is performing. I can’t wait.

At home. No one’s wife shushes you during commercials and you don’t have to listen to people talk about American Idol while the game is being played. Also, 50 inch big screen with surround sound.
After all, it’s a football game right?

Uptown Sports Bar and Grill 2787 Main St East Point Ga. It’s a new spot that opened last August. They have 18 to 20 tv screens for everyone to view and they also have great prices on their food and drinks.
