We went to the Sundial last Valentine's Day and we had to wait forever even though we had a reservation. It was delicious and I would highly reccommend it, but be prepared to wait. We are in Gwinnett and I would say Milano's or Benny's Grill on 78 they are both awesome but rather small so call ahead.

For an memorable and worthy night out, you can’t beat the annual 2009 Valentines Gala to benefit Edu-pack.org at the Metropolitan Club in Alphareta. For dancing, there is NIGHTRAIN,a 17 piece orchestra and a gournet buffet dinner is served. It is black tie optional and the proceeds help provide school supplies for children in third world countries and relief areas such as Katrina. You will thrill your Valentine with this pick! Reservations at www.edu-pack.org.

Our favorite spot is Dante’s Down the Hatch. It is a different type of dining, the atmosphere and service is great. There are live alligators in the ship. We love it!!! The jazz music is great as well….Make reservations to sit in the ship area. It is soo romantic especially after a couple of drinks….I love Dante’s Down the Hatch

Anyone who goes out to eat for Valentine’s Day is an idiot. The restaurants jack up the price, it’s overly crowded, it’s not relaxing. They’re playing you, and you fall for it. You don’t need 1 stupid day to please your woman. Do it 365. By all means, go out and throw away your money. Bunch of cattle…Moo!

I’m going to tell my boyfriend this year that let’s just get a card for each other. We eat out enough as it is. I don’t need him to take me to a fancy dinner to show that he loves me. He shows me that everyday. I’m also telling him to leave out the flowers :) Too freakin expensive!

I would recommend La Grotta though.

Well, we stay at home on v-Day because of crowds..but If we had the money and a babysitter I’d recommend Sugos in roswell for ANY special occasion. Food is fresh and inventive and HUGE portions, and the waitstaff and owner treat everyone like treasured family. Plus the restaurant is beautiful!

Parker’s on Ponce is a VERY romantic place for valentine’s day dinner. They feature two double-sided fireplaces, pleasant (and not too loud) music, and 3 dining rooms. The best feature, however, has to be the bread pudding. It’s white-chocolate and it has a Maker’s Mark caramel sauce. YUM!!

Love is in the Air for Valentine’s Day at the Chonas Mexican Grill located in a Strip Mall adjacent to Discover Mills Mall on North Brown Road in Lawrenceville, GA.

Chonas will be offering a very Special Dinner for Two featuring Seafood Fajitas with Lobster Tails. It promises to be a delectable dinner with other surprises included at one reasonably set price.

If your feeling spirited, you can also show-off your romantic crooning skills and “Serenade Your Loved One” with love-themed karaoke music presented by Kamikaze Karaoke. Don’t be surprised to hear your favorite wait-staff singing Spanish love-ballads.

If fear of performing strikes, you can warm up with one of the tastiest Pineapple Martinis I’ve ever experienced. Just the right touch of icy-cold vodka with frothy pineapple and a hint of coconut. Yum-licious!

Chonas also serves a potent Texas Margarita and a unique Blackberry Margarita loaded with juicy fresh blackberries. Additionally, Chonas is one of the few places I know of that offers a totally organic margarita.

My friends, family & I have been patrons of Chonas ever since its opening over four years ago and the reasons that keep us coming back are the superior service, excellent food at reasonable prices and friendly atmosphere. We love this place and hope you do too!

Panita’s Thai Kitchen in Virginia Highlands. In a converted house behind Surin and Darkhorse. Amazing patio, amazing fireplace, amazing ambiance, amazing food. Not the fancy shmancy stuff, REAL country Thai food prepared with loving pride by the one man show owner, Matre D’, waiter, and overall entertainer Panita (his name is very hard to pronounce, so he says to just call him Panita which is combination of his and his wife’s name.) He’ll make anything you can describe, but I always order the tom yun goon spicy shrimp soup and the green curry sea scallops, which is a mainstay on the specials menu. Warning on the soup, it will absolutely set you on fire. The spring rolls are luscious as well…

OMG!! I have only seen a few people mention this but the best place is Kalonji Bakery. The best of everything..cakes, sandwiches and galore! I have eaten things here that I have never liked yet they have managed to always win me over. The owner, Angelica, is so sweet and awesome! It is such a great and romantic atmosphere where you can shower your love with sweets and more. You do not know what you are missing…However far you are I recommend that everyone takes a trip over there. Food is great and prices are sweet to your pockets too! You won’t regret it if you go because you won’t be able to leave. If you do not go you do not know what you are missing out on…the best food in town. I love you Kalonji Bakery. Here is there info 4757 Stone Mountain HWY, Ste 400 Lilburn, GA, 30047 770-710-0532

Much Love… Krystal P. :-)
