What Atlanta area bar would you most like to dance on?
We have our winners.
We asked you to delve into fantasy this time around and tell us where you’d go if you could dance on any bar in town. We wouldn’t want anyone to take a tumble, so we don’t encourage making the fantasy reality. And even if it were a possibility, it’s always polite to ask first.
It seems you wanted to indulge your wild side at Pizza Bar in Mableton atop it’s illuminated water bar. Check out all the contenders, and see what you said about Pizza Bar.
Our own Meridith Ford Goldman would choose to take a turn among the cocktails at Midtown’s Trois. See our list of bars where we’ve been tempted to kick up our heels.

I’m glad the question was asked because every time I enter the Pizza Bar on Veterans Memorial Hwy I feel like a mermaid!!! The bar is so HOT!! The red rocks just capitivate you with the glowing bubbly water. Swim, crawl on top of it, and especially DANCE on it!!! Has anyone else thought of dancing on that bar?

Didn’t Gwen Stefani climb on top of a baby grand piano at the Ritz Carlton Buckhead and belt out a number late one night a few years ago? If my memory serves me correct she sang “Underneath it all.”

Yes, Pizza Bar is my favorite. The bar is unlike any other in Atlanta. It would almost be like dancing on water. If you haven’t checked it out yet, they have pics of it online at pizzabaratlanta.com. I was on there today.

I can see myself dancing on the bar at the Hard Rock Atlanta, while TI ’ Ain’t I plays as loud as the system will go, with my cowboy boots own and some shinny pink thongs that have Hell yeah on them with a smily face with sparkles, and 50 sexy women all withme at the same time.

I actually did dance to the song Tequila Sunrise (from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure) on the bar at a Waffle House once, at like 3 am. Do you know someone actually called corporate to complain!

I think it’d be fun to dance on the circular bar at Lobby at Twelve in Atlantic Station. That place is so pretentious it’d be fun to see the look on people’s faces!

Dean’s BQ in Jonesboro is the best BQ in the south. When I return from Cincinnati to my hometown I always have to stop at Dean’s.
