I watched about 2 minutes of this show because some of my co-workers were talking about it. All I can say is that the network must be desperate for shows because..this show SUCKS** in the worst way and should be banned from tv., but at the same time I am not mad at New York for actually having some network affiliate to actual pay her for this worthless piece of a show. It makes you wonder who’s using who? Maybe I will do a clip of show that I have in mind and send it in to the Network to see if I can get a shot a REALITY SHOW, I guarantee to have more substance than that show! HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVVERYONE!!!!

NEW YORK is a joke - I felt that Taylor Made is a WIMP ( simply put )- Buddha kept it real and put NY in her place on several occasions - she needs a man like that - he has more on the ball that Taylor Made and NY - at any rate this is ENTERTAINMENT ONLY - but people do actually live there lives in constant chaos and think its necessary - Buddha did say NY loves the drama..

Not that I liked this at all but at least in the last season I could actually believe that she and Tango (think that was his name) could have been in a relationship. Me personally I would have picked Buddah because his personality plus hers would have been a balance. Take my husband and I for instance..he is mild mannered, calm and rational. I on the other hand was different..not like New York but different. He taught me to be proactive instead of reactive. He taught me how to not sweat the small stuff, enjoy life and how to communicate without yelling, swearing and outtalking the person I am in a conversation with. New York will never get that with Tailor Made. It will always be yes ma’am, no ma’am, three bags four ma’am.

After reading the posts which lovingly describe this show, I am left with three observations:

(1) It is no wonder so many of our kids can’t read, speak correctly or reason.

(2) It is no wonder so many of our kids grow up fatherless, and with no sense of morals or propriety.

Ok…as far as the show is concerned, NY got what she wanted, a man who will bowdown and submit to her. Her and Buddha wouldn’t have lasted because they clash too much and both have to have their own way. I will admit, Buddha was the realest man on that show and fine too. She didn’t deserve Punk so he is better off without her.

To be perfectly honest, the whole show was fake to me. If you listened to what she said and what some of those guys she had on there said, be honest, nobody can be that dayum stupid. I’m sure there will be another dose of NY, just hopefully not anytime soon…we still got to live through more Flava Flav sigh and Rock of Love. Folks are going to eventually learn one day that you can’t find love on a tv show…it never works.

I thought the show was awful but was quickly hooked after watching it last weekend when they showed it back to back. It is what most reality shows are. Entertaining. It amazes me that none of the mothers out there has commented on the fact that her mother sat by while her daughter did all these hidious things. RC, hold up and wait a minuet. New York does not represent Black Women, New York represents herself. I watch the show for entertainment purposes and I actually watched it with my 17 year old daughter and used it as a tool to continue teaching her respect of self and others. I also pointed out how she as a black woman must carry herself as such, control her destiny, and never let anyone treat her as a piece of meat. The mofo can go to Longhorn for that. Now the wonder is why you came on here with that narrow minded comment. If a black man wants to date a white woman that is his choice and more power to them. But to downgrade black women and then use that has an excuse to date white women is also insulting to white women. It makes it seems that you are saying white women are dating black men by default. Congratulations to you and your white woman, that comment sounded as if you wanted us to know you had a white woman, but the kicker is why are you still justifying being with her. I watched the show, fully aware of its degradation toward men and women. However, New York and the men on the show are individuals and they only represent themselves. Not everyone you see on television is an example. We have to use our better judgement when viewing shows like this.

I watched the show, because it was entertaining. Will I continue watching the show as I grow and mature as the person God wants me to be? Probably not. We’re all learning and growing as Ms. New York and her cast hopefully are as well.

We all need a good laugh, research proves it’s healthy. So what if it isn’t the most moral? Will watching this show keep one from heaven? I doubt it. That’s why it’s called ENTERTAINMENT! Because it does what it’s supposed to do. The problems in society are so overwhelming that without it, where would we be? New York clearly has some issues a lot of black women have….they need a strong man to balance them out, but not someone with a rage or anger problem like budha cause with as much mouth as New York has, she’ll provoke him constantly and he’ll punch her…constantly. I think Punk would have been a good balance…he not only was an educated man with respect for women, he was nice on the eye as well…complete package.

This show should be called “Screw What the CDC says about AIDS and STD’s” Her mother upholds her whorish behavior. I have watched only to see what antics she stirs up yet. Tiffany, has self esteem issues,there is no self love and if this is ALL for TV, image the children that are viewing and thinking its okay to carry on in such a manner. I am believing that this will be her last run with this. Then again…capitalize off of the ignorance of Hollywood while you instill on running a nation and destroying values!

I hope this show of Buffons never airs again. Young Lady please show some self respect and integrity because other impressional young ladies are watching. There is nothing entertaining about showing trampy tendencies. It’s obvious that the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. The show is an embarrasment.

(1) It’s quite ironic that those of you who have the MOST number of negative things to say about the show are also some of the most ignorant. Before you criticize New York’s poor grammar, crack open Webster’s.

(2) The show is MEANT to entertain. Shows like this, Britney Spears’s series Chaotic, and others serve as exploitations of everyday people to make us, the viewers, laugh. You have to admit, there’s nothing better than a good old-fashioned relatable television show. You want something that’s politically correct? Watch The Learning Channel. Or Grey’s Anatomy if you like drama.

(3) Bottom line folks: Change the channel if you can’t handle watching real people make you laugh. Her diction may be horrible, her make-up clown-like and caked, but New York knows how to draw in the viewers… and ratings.
