Worst album covers

When artists put out albums,
one of the many things they have to consider is the cover art. An aesthetically pleasing cover can make people want to buy the album. And something that is less than stellar? Those covers (such as Nelson’s “Because They Can”) become popular for entirely different reasons.
Sites such as coverbrowser.com keep tabs on the best of the bad, but the Orlando Sentinel has elevated the discussion, letting users vote for the very worst among 50 choices (see the covers here).
What is the worst album cover you have ever seen? Are there popular artists who missed the mark?

I couldn’t see the middle 16 for some reason, but a few of the ones I saw are also on Jeff Bridges’ website. Pretty scary

I do better reading the stock market, or watching Youtube all day, rather than reading that insignificant crap. We need another 9/11 or something!!!! What a slow news day, indeed.

We need another 9/11???? Dude, throttle back a notch. It’s 9/11 that helped cement our intrigue with the benign. We had a chance to focus on what really mattered after 9/11 and instead we dove more deeply into the world of Britney, Paris, and ‘worst album covers’.
Besides, if an election year with a tanking economy and horrible leadership don’t get folks reading REAL news, another ‘tragedy’ isn’t gonna shake things up. We’re in the midst of a very slow one right now.

Love the Wegman, not a fan of Nelson. I browsed through the covers and some of them are absolutely hilarious. Some are…well, just strange for the sake of being strange!
