Now you need a sommelier to make wine pairing suggestions and some organic arugula on your plate in order to enjoy a sports bar experience?
Upscale pubs where people gather to dine and perhaps gaze up at the games playing on Hi-Def TV monitors are sprouting up all around town. But is the gentrification of sports bars being taken too far?
If time-worn sports memorabilia, peanut shell-littered floors, bad manners, fast food and second-hand smoke don’t define a truly great sports bar, what does?
