Fantasia Barrino is getting into the beauty business.

Um, … never mind.

Jex, be nice.

I caught myself. But that’s kind of like Mandisa opening a chain of aerobics studios.

Morning Wanda!! What happened to everyone? Is everyone off today for a 4 day weekend. Well, I took Tuesday off to kick it with my family.

By Tina

Uhh…….Too easy.

Why not a Hooked on Phonics school for unwed mothers?

By shay

I get so tired of people commenting on her past mistakes. He who has never sinned, cast the first stone.

I didn’t think so…..

Shay

Two words…..SHUT UP.

By shay

September 1, 2006 9:14 AM | Link to this

Heffa, I didn’t say nothing to your nappy head a**. You got problems!!!

All I am saying is, people always have something negative to say (not just Tina) and they really need to focus on their own life. So what she had a baby out of wedlock. AND? She is still talented and making more money than the both of us.

By Wanda

Maybe you can get a scholarship, Tina.

Fantasia going in the beauty business is like Elliott opening a dental service.

She’s Freaking Hideous and his mouth….nevermind.

But he can sing though.

Hey Shay, guess what my husband bought me yesterday?

What Wanda??!!!

By Tina

September 1, 2006 9:19 AM | Link to this

Me nappy head? LOL!!!!!!

I really wish that this blog could show our pictures like on myspace.

It would shut all you stupid people up. It would probably explain why Fantasia is some of you all’s “idol”. You’re probably fugly too.

Wanda I have a couple of degrees, don’t need a scholarship. Enough said.

A new car! I’m now cruising around in a brand new Honda CR-V! It’s red and beautiful! Fully loaded down to the XM radio and 6 DC changer! He pimped my ride! :-D

By shay

September 1, 2006 9:21 AM | Link to this

You have a couple of degrees using “you alls”? WTF??

Damn, what school did you go to? DDU?

Dumb & Dumber University?

By Wanda

September 1, 2006 9:22 AM | Link to this

Yeah Tina, I noticed your degree in stupidity, and now it looks like you have an advanced degree in vanity.

By Tina

September 1, 2006 9:24 AM | Link to this

Honey this is a blog, not a term paper.

“That’s all”.

By shay

September 1, 2006 9:25 AM | Link to this

Wanda, I thought you had gotten your other car out of the shop. What did you do to get a new car so I can do the same to my husband. Look at you riding new in your red car. He did pimp your ride. Now tell him to pimp your pockets so you can go shopping in your new car!

By Jex

September 1, 2006 9:25 AM | Link to this

Wow Wanda! A brand new car! Was it a special occassion or did he just know you wanted a car?

By Wanda

September 1, 2006 9:25 AM | Link to this

That would be a 6 “CD” changer. I’m awake but my fingers are not :-)

By mystique

September 1, 2006 9:30 AM | Link to this

Good Morning! I see it is already getting interesting in here. Like her or not, at least Fantasia is trying to open something that others will gain from, not just her.

Wanda, how sweet of your hubby to get you a new car! Sounds like you are riding in style. Welcome to the XM nation from a proud member since July :) You will love it. I don’t know how it is up in yankee land, but around here we don’t have any good radio stations.

By Wanda

September 1, 2006 9:31 AM | Link to this

Yes, I just got my car out of the shop, and while we were at the dealership picking it up, I :::cough::: wandered into the showroom and started checking out the CR-V. I have been hinting for a while that I like them and that I sure do miss my old Blazer. When hubby opened the rear door he said “wow, that’s big enough to haul a big screen tv home”, I knew I had it ;-) Next morning, he told me to call the dealer, we wanted it :-)

Ladies, you have to plant the seed, let it grow slowly, eventually they will think it was their idea :-)

By Wanda

September 1, 2006 9:37 AM | Link to this

We get pretty good stations up here so long as you are near Chicago. My favorite is 97.1 the River. Seems like it is a well known station everywhere. My husband listens to a station that says “we play anything”, and they do! One minute you are listening to disco, next song is rap, next is Kelly Clarkson. But if you get away from the big city it’s hard to find anything decent. And I’m still searching for NPR up here! What’s a good liberal to do without NPR? LOL!

By shay

September 1, 2006 9:43 AM | Link to this

Anybody watch the VMAs last night?

By mystique

September 1, 2006 9:51 AM | Link to this

The river is alright Wanda, we have that too. It just seems they are playing the same songs over and over. CRV’s are nice. I am so jealous :)

Nope, Shay, I didn’t watch the VMA’s. I am sure MTV will rerun it 20 times this weekend like they always do. I will catch it then.

By Jex

September 1, 2006 9:56 AM | Link to this

shay, I only saw a few minutes of the show. But I did see your girl, Bouncy. She put Janet’s Rhythm Nation to shame. But as the times progress, so must the dancing.

By mystique

September 1, 2006 9:59 AM | Link to this

I just took a look at the pics on the access atlanta page of the VMA’s. Does anyone know how old Shakira is? She is looking pretty old in the face!! And B looked gorgeous as always, I wish I had that body!!!

By shay

September 1, 2006 9:59 AM | Link to this

Shakira does look old to me. Maybe she has had a hard life!

By shay

September 1, 2006 10:07 AM | Link to this

Mystique, did you see CoCo’s picture (Ice-T’s wife). She looks like a hooker.

By Jex

September 1, 2006 10:14 AM | Link to this

shay, CoCo always looks like that. And Ice T loves it. It seems a little extreme if you ask me. If you have a great body, you can dress respectfully and still be sexy as he**.

And Shakira’s hips may not lie, but makeup, lights and camera angles sure do. I’ve seen some very unflattering photos of her. Some times I wonder if it’s the same person.

By mystique

September 1, 2006 10:23 AM | Link to this

Yes, Lord, I saw her pic on there. She looks so plastic, that girl melts in the sun. Hello HOOK-ER!

Thats right Jex, her hips are about the only thing that don’t lie. She has a smokin body but has neglected the face in the process.

By shay

September 1, 2006 10:26 AM | Link to this

Normally I don’t say people look trashy, but she does. WHY would he want her to dress like that!

By mystique

September 1, 2006 10:34 AM | Link to this

Some guys prefer that their women look all slutty, show off what they got. I think they like it when other men lust after their women. Makes them feel sperior or something.

But, who can understand the inner workings of the male mind :) Not me!

By Jex

September 1, 2006 10:36 AM | Link to this

It’s that whole “Trophy Wife” syndrome. Men want other men to look at their woman. But they get mad if another man looks too long or tries to talk to her.

By mystique

September 1, 2006 10:40 AM | Link to this

That would be superior, not sperior :)

By shay

September 1, 2006 10:42 AM | Link to this

She look like a blow up doll to me. But to each it’s own.

By Jex

September 1, 2006 10:45 AM | Link to this

I will be glad to get back to my home planet. You people here on Earth are strange. You think bony, rail thin women are sexy as long as they have ‘fattened’ themselves in the breast area. But a woman that has natural curves like Bouncy is called fat with an “F. She still looks good after having lost some weight, but there was nothing wrong with her in the first place. Earthlings are strange.

By mystique

September 1, 2006 11:10 AM | Link to this

Really Jex, I see these women who are skin and bones still being called fat because they aren’t in a size 0 or in danger of colapsing from malnutrition. Those real skinny women look sick. You can see their ribs and stuff. Thats sexy?!? I don’t get it. B was a perfect size before she lost her weight, I would have loved to be that size. There is far too much pressure put upon women to look like fence posts with boobs. Its ridiculous, unhealthy and I will not be a part of it. I like my curves, they might be a little curvier than I would want at the moment, but I am not gonna lose them!!

Sorry, weight issues and women get me all fired up. I will climb down from my soapbox now :)

By shay

September 1, 2006 11:12 AM | Link to this

I hate discussing weight. Seems like I am constantly on a diet, which never works.

By Jex

September 1, 2006 11:17 AM | Link to this

women to look fence posts with boobs So true! Or mailboxes or lollipops.

I LOVE my curves and I’m glad there are still men around who love them too.

shay, take the word “diet” out of your vocabulary. You may need to make a “lifestyle change”, but you don’t need to diet. Diets never work. That’s what Dr. Phil says.

By greg

September 1, 2006 11:23 AM | Link to this

I LIKE BUTT’S OF ALL SIZES!!!!!!GOOD MORNING MY LOVELY SISTA’S!

By shay

September 1, 2006 11:33 AM | Link to this

You are right. They never work. I weigh (cough cough) pounds and I just can’t seem to get back down to 127 since the baby came.

By mystique

September 1, 2006 11:37 AM | Link to this

Thats right Jex, there are men out there that still like our curves. Like our very own greggy-poo here! Good Morning, greg!

Shay I hear ya, weight is a losing battle and it gets tiring trying to fight it. I like this lifestyle change instead of diet thing! But ya know what, we are all goregous- any size. And those who don’t agree can kiss my big ole butt. And neways, Sir Mix A Lot said he likes it :)

Did Carla ask any of you to be off yesterday or today?? I wrote her up yesterday and today might be dismissal time. She can’t come to work, but I bet her AZZ be on a date tonight all healthy and stuff!

AM, can I get a corner of that banana pudding? Is it from scratch?

I’ve done it from scratch a couple of times and it is wwaaayy too much trouble. Then my ex-mother-in-law showed me how to do it with just the evaporated milk. Not quite as good, but still pretty darn tasty.

Jexy, I don’t have a problem with you leaving early! I hope to do the same.

Any big labor day weekend plans?

By Jex

September 1, 2006 12:41 PM | Link to this

Thank you mystique! You have always been my favorite.

I planned on having people over for a cookout on Sunday, then just resting and recuperating on Monday. So, nothing big. I’m just glad to have an extra day off.

By mystique

September 1, 2006 12:50 PM | Link to this

Thanks ~¿@

Sounds like a nice weekend! I am looking forward to the extra day off too. No big plans either, just rest.

I wouldn’t want to head out of town like everyone else is gonna do and get stuck in all that traffic, and all those crowds. I can put that money I would have spent on gas to head out to much better use. Like shopping for a new fall wardrobe :)

Of course my banana pudding is from scratch!!! Turned out quite good too!!! My pecan pie is most good, too, but I only did banana Pudding today for My MAN, thank you very much greg- I am a very fulfilled woman AND I can cook - the meringue was golden with perfect peaks. My husband requested my fried chicken, my coleslaw, my banana pudding and my sweet tea, to treat some of his friends at the garage when he does business- to thank them for all they do, so My Man is a really nice guy too!!!! (it is still warm - the pudding is too!!)

Hey y’all, I’m back. Went to the doc and ran errands. And went cruisin’ in my new ride :-)

I tell you what, the media might try to tell us that we have to be sticks to be pretty, but I don’t belive it. I have been single and round most of my adult life and never went dateless unless I just wanted to.

Hey AM, I make homemade banana pudding too. But I don’t hang out by the pool. It’s full of water and that stuff will drown you! LOL
