Are you ready for Michael Moore’s ‘9/11’ sequel?

Michael Moore’s next documentary will be a followup to his controversial “Fahrenheit 9/11.”

The Oscar-winning filmmaker’s as-yet untitled 9/11 sequel, in the works now and being shopped to international studios at the Cannes Film Festival, will apparently follow events as President Bush’s popularity has fallen and the U.S. economy has worsened.

The film could be released as early as spring 2009.

It’s a bold move, especially considering how American moviegoers have for the most part shunned recent features and documentaries — such as “Rendition” and “In the Valley of Elah — that have dealt with depressing issues surrounding the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

What do you think of Michael Moore? Will you see his sequel to “9/11”?

I will see any Michael Moore movie because he has a unique way of looking at things and he puts together serious subjects with humor and outrageous actions, such as sending a boat with Sept. 11 emergency providers to Cuba for treatment, or taking gunshot victims from Columbine H. S. to KMart to return the bullets.

Moore’s an idiot with no credibility. He’s a rank liar.

LeftWingLoon: You and your ilk are the true idiots. Moore will have plenty of documentary material as long as the intellectually brain dead American mass (80%) continues to ignore the obvious. The sad reality is that even after the last depressing 8 yrs, McCain (GW part II) actually has a chance of winning. Aren’t you numb-nuts tired of Republican idiocy? I guess not. Wake up fools! Vote in your own economic interests this time.

Moore is a fake. He tries to come across as the working man’s hero but look into what his contract calls for when he makes a public appearence. 4 bedroom suits, fully stocked bar, butler, limo and driver, $3000 a day expense money….what a jerk. If he likes Cuba so much I think we can get him a room at our military base down there.

I am considered a liberal but I have a problem with Moore’s use of lies and out of context twists to make his “documentaries.” His films are really not documentaries but poor propaganda films for minds that are easily led astray.

Moore is a fat looser. Nothing he has ever produced has been true. He is nothing more than Castros left testicle.

Big S, I love people like you. You go around accusing people of being mean and racist yet here you are calling people who don’t agree with your views, brain dead. I have a high IQ and can tell you that W is far more intelligent than John Kerry ever was.

Big S…I guess you mean vote for Obama who will raise the capital gains taxes by 100%? Wow. I guess that is really in our economic interest.

Whether you agree with his intentions or not, you can’t honestly play around with facts and timelines as much as Moore does and still call them documentaries. He makes satirical propaganda with only a passing interest in reality. And given the lack of response to Sicko, he’s just going back to the well for more cash. Perhaps he and Stallone have more in common than they think. Fahrenheit IX/XI, Pt. Deux?

Cynicism and condescension, thy name is Michael Moore.

Or to paraphrase another, “Michael Moore is a Big Fat Idiot.”

TOO FUNNY! People are still programed to hate Mr. Moore, even after his movie has proven to be correct. I cant wait to see the sequel. I just hope it shows idiots who will believe anything waking up after thier fox news brainwashing starts to wear off after they cant afford food due to the high gas prices thanks to our oil man president!

By been there, done that

We must remember a story is always told from a standing point of view. We must decide for ourselves if we want to accept what is being offered -the truth or is it a lie? Personally Michael Moore is a fool who is hitting the fools gold pot selling all these documentaries to bigger fools who pay to watch it and then even believe it!

Moore makes propaganda films. He does not attempt to show a fair case, his intent is to influence people to see things the way he does.

His first movie, Roger and Me is his best work. Everything he has made since then has been overly hyped and excessivly sensationalized to draw an auidence.

He amuses me. But he needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

TWO POINTS 1) MICHAEL MOORE IS A TOTAL NUT FOR WHOM I WOULD BE HAPPY TO BUY A ONE WAY TICKET TO CUBA, 2) TO BIG S: BETTER WE SHOULD VOTE FOR WHAT’S IN THE BEST INTEREST FOR OUR COUNTRY RATHER THAN WHAT’S BEST FOR US AS INDIVIDUALS

I liked the movie, but do I believe everything that was in it? No. I do however have to get a 2nd job to buy gas and food for my family, and that’s not whats best for the country. If just 2 minutes of the movie are correct, isn’t that enough? Why continue to have the country go down because simple minded fools are so caught up in “what’s best for America.” Can you people just put away your egos for a minute and think about our children’s futures?

Big S is correct vote democrat. These crazy Republican economic policies with their insistence that people keep more of their own money and pay less in taxes is killing this country.

Everyone knows the best thing to do in a recession is to raise taxes to further decrease the amount of money that can be spent in the economy. Less money spent means less jobs and less jobs means more opportunities for the Government to provide for it’s citizens through social progrmams like unemployment and welfare.

Isn’t that what we all want? Government needs to take care of it’s people and not expect people to take care of themselves.

Moore’s next film will be called …

SCOTT: Fat, Stupid, Worthless.

The truth lies somewhere in the middle with Moore’s films, but as long as the American sheeple are willing to sit and be spoon-fed garbage like American Idle and the Bush propoganda machine (“frankly, it [Iraq] will be a cakewalk”), there will be a place for filmmakers like Moore. The American people by and large are lazy and lack the ability to think critically for themselves. Moore is not 100% right but he is willing to make you very uncomfortable about what you’ve been spoonfed by FauxNews, CNN and all the other corporate media outlets.

THINK people.

I’m no Michael Moore fan, because he is just like Rev. Wright, a hypocrite who panders to class warriors while living like the people he derides. “W” deserves every ounce of criticism he gets though because totally mishandled Iraq from the get go and was unwilling to admit mistakes and fix the problems by administering severe retribution on insurgeant areas. War is not for the meek, you go all in or you don’t go. He also has been a wasteful spender and mismanager of the public tax money. We may need more government oversight in some areas like the banking and airline industries but the best thing the government can do otherwise is get out of the way and let the markets take care of themselves. For those deluded souls who think higher taxes on the rich and the oil companies aren’t going to end up coming out of your wallet in the form of higher prices, well you just don’t understand economics. Obama has done nothing to convince me he isn’t just another panderer to special interests and with tort reform being high on the list of things that REALLY need to change, the last thing we need in the White House is two lawyers (Michelle is a millionaire lawyer too).

And conversely, any news source that contradicts MM will make him apoplectic. Whatever, send him off to live with Ann Coulter somewhere. They deserve each other.

And gas prices are going up because millions (billions?) of Chinese and Indians are trading in their bicycles and scooters for automobiles. Anyone who tells you different is lying to get your vote. This has been coming for 30 years, get used to it.
