9/29: More Morning X teasing

The new Morning X show will be launched at 6 a.m. Monday. They’ve invited me to check things out at 7 a.m. at the studio. Here’s a facetious photo of the new morning show in masks sent to me by publicist Dutch:

Obviously, the Bush mask gal is Leslie Fram.
The Homer Simpson looks like Rob Jenners (formerly of Big 105.9 in Miami), based on the slope of his shoulders compared to the headshot of him. He’s going to be a cohost and has his own myspace page.
The fact 99X is bringing back the “Morning X” moniker implies ever stronger that Sean Demery (99X, 1992-99) is returning as the other main cohost. He was briefly the morning host in 1992-93 before Barnes swapped spots with him and moved Sean to afternoons. The bald dude mask (Dick Cheney?) could be Sean. Here’s a relatively recent photo of a maskless Sean:
Now who’s the gal between (supposedly) Sean and (likely) Leslie wearing the Scream mask? Definitely not Neve Campbell. Former 99Xer Yvonne Monet perhaps (seen below in her last Dave FM publicity shot before she left that station)
Bloggers below theorize the Scream gal may be Jamie Massey. That makes sense since she’s already there doing traffic. Here’s her shot from her myspace account.

The Dick Cheney mask guy has the same style of bag as the bag Sean has in his pic. Also the clothing style is similar.

yes everyone slams on fram, she must be doing something right to still be around. but ya know…that pic really makes her look like a man…and if you let your imagination go just a little bit more…she almost looks like butch walkers sister that had a sex change at birth…cheap shot yes…sorry fram…but jeezum…looking awfully butch there..ahem…girly?

Seems a tad unfair to denigrate radio personalities for being unattractive…THEY ARE ON RADIO…YOU CAN’T SEE THEM WORK. They go before the public doing on-site broadcasts and such, but jeez, if they were really hot, they’d work on TV or in the movies, right?
Jennifer Reed and Lexie Kaye probably both got their jobs in part because they are attractive.
Yvonne Monet looks a bit like Amy Poehler from SNL in that picture…hmm.

Oh Please Brent. No she does NOT look butch. Wanna see butch? Check out my sister’s room. Anyway, Leslie gets a bad wrap for nada. Just leave the woman alone. Not everyone wants to be a blonde hair, blue eyed buxom barbie! Leslie has plenty of money to change her looks into any manufactured plastice pinup she wants. But she’s proud of who she is and good for her. I have to ask..what do you do for a living Brent? Bet you don’t earn quarter the salary Leslie does. So eat gritz and blow up.

99X veterans Fram, Demery and Monet would hardly qualify the show to be called the “New” Morning X, now would it?
The 99X website lists the new cast as Homer Simpson, Dick Cheney, Screaming Ghoul and George Bush. Clever.

Great call on the Sean Demery bag. That must be him. The morning X with 2 guys and 2 girls seems like a Bert Show rip-off. Let’sn hope they stay away from the incessant women touchy feely issues like that wuss Bert lovees. I don’t think that would be Sean’s gig and Leslie isn’t miss feelings either so hopefully that will keep it balanced. Either way sounds good. I will be tuned in for my commute. They should return to the Friday morning audiences like the Morning X and Sean had in the afternoon.

I’m not sure about Sean. Notice the bag is drapped over the opposite shoulder. People tend to like his/her bag/purse on the same side. Although it very well could be Yvonne, I’m guessing it’s Jamie. They usually include the traffic reporter in the shows.

Good call on Sean Demery with the bag. @ guys 2 girls, seems like the Bert Show. Hopefully they will stay away from all the sesitive female issues that the little wuss Bert loves or they could just steal listeners from their sister station. Either way I am tuning in. Hopefully it is Jamie she does a good job with Dylan in the afternoons.

I’ve been reading up on Demery and he claims he’s looking for a smaller market where he can keep his family together. I have no idea what that means but isn’t Atlanta smaller than San Francisco? If so I’ll bet he’s come back.

He has probably spent the time moving his mother down here. I believe I read she is very ill in upstate NY. San Fran is no place to move family members with its high costs.

Rodney - did you notice the URL for that 99x photo … well i guess jim at 99xwatch.org already pointed out it was an old URL http://www.99x.com/index.asp?url=%2FTJLshow%2Findex%2Easp%3F
the TJLshow line -means toucher jimmy leslie…. maybe homer is Jimmy - maybe dick is Toucher. Don’t give me the old well you know the people at 99x may be late getting around to switching up their URLs. I’m sure the webdorks at cumulus are the best in the business…. monday we shall find out.
