Wow….give rodney access to the library of congress and we will know how many times the past presidents have eaten chicken sandwhiches and the amazing part is that still no one will care.
I have quit reading other websites for comedy and just wait on Rodney’s “glob” for all of my comedy needs.
Tomorrow: What color shoes do most of the program directors that have been fired wear on tuesdays with humidity over 17%!!!!

Fuel’s bassist is named Jeff Abercrombie. Perhaps they should add a band member with the last name of “Fitch” to market the band better.
I am grateful that I’ve only seen Lil’ Jon parodied on Chapelle Show and have never heard more than 5 to 6 seconds of “Get Low”…hmm…Crunk…rap for rappers that down want to learn a bunch of words.

Okay, how long before some satellite geek says, “this is why I don’t listen to terrestrial radio anymore…I’m so glad I have satellite so I can type in Rodney’s blog about how cool I am”?

The list left out the 10 most played songs on the “new” River 97.1. I can hear one playlist while going to work and then hear the same playlist on the way home. Come on, River, surely you can play more than the same old tunes over and over and over…..Thank goodness I can punch out 97.1 and go to another station when the playlist goes stale!

Can you say “iPod?” That was the main reason why I bought an iPod. So if I want to listen to a song over and over it is by my choice, not somebody elses!

Commercial radio, ugh. More media mind-control. The media tells sheeple what 5 pieces of overplayed drivel they’re allowed to “like” & that same sludge is played over & over, further anaesthesizing their already weakened “minds”. SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL INDEPENDENT MUSIC SCENE!

Clarkson’s numbers on Q-100 in two years seem to pale in comparison to Usher’s total in just over three years on 95.5
Looks like “Yeah” was released in early ‘04, so it’s had less than 130 weeks to compile nearly 6k plays. That’s an average of about 7 plays PER DAY in that time.
That’s mind boggling.

What - no Elton John. I can’t turn on 97.1 The River without hearing one of his songs.
And Dave FM is getting very bad in the mornings. I hear the same songs at just about the same time every morning.

Where do you find the information to compile a report like this. And can you do it for other cities?

SatRadio has some great content…the problem I have with XM & Sirius (soon to be XMSirius or SiriusXM or some such nonsense) is that Clear Channel has ruined terrestrial radio to trick people into paying $12.95 a month to listen to music. What a crock! Here’s a brief quote from the Motley Fool…
” Now that those old invisible airwaves aren’t so crackling with life anymore, thanks to XM and ad-free satellite rival Sirius Satellite Radio (Nasdaq: SIRI), Clear Channel may be trying to undermine XM’s business model and/or competitive advantage. Sure, Clear Channel might just be innocently trying to claim what it believes it is duly owed, but it might also be thinking that if it can force XM to carry ads, then subscribers might cool to the notion of paying for the same kind of radio service they can already get for free.
If that’s Clear Channel’s intent, it’s a strategy sure to fail. Even if it’s not, forcing the XM issue like this won’t win the company any new friends. Clear Channel has created an impressive list of critics and outright enemies for itself over the years. Aside from the well-documented political and ethical issues that many have with the company, music lovers are painfully aware of the role Clear Channel has played in sucking the life out of terrestrial-radio playlists. In between ad bombardments, you have to listen to the same top 30 hits, over and over and over, on virtually every Clear Channel pop and country station across the dial and across the nation.
Traditional radio still may command far more listeners than satellite does, but the 9 million-plus subscribers (and counting) that XM and Sirius have collectively signed up in just a few short years says quite a bit about where things are heading. Traditional radio’s mind-numbingly homogenous playlists are going a long way toward fueling the exodus, and the lack of ads on satellite doesn’t hurt. “

Whining Garbage, like T-Pain, and Gay-Kon make me wanna throw up…Makes Ja Rule look good…
And all that walk it out crap…is dreadful, I’d rather shoot up gem-clear than watch people do that crap… Absolute Horrible

This list provides reason #48 why I love my Ipod…Atlanta commercial radio has been ruined by ghetto and ignorant program directors and playlists which suck azz. Its really, really bad. V103 is a cesspool that caters to thuggish pimps and skanks.

Looking at those playlists remind me of why I bought an Ipod. I have over 5,000 songs rotating and very few are played on kid oriented Atlanta Radio.

How sad - you didn’t even list any of the fine Christian Stations in Metro Atlanta. J-93.3 and Fish are two excellent stations that air positive, up-lifting music all day.

I listen to Q100 in the morning and my sirius in the afternoons. One does not provide any more entertainment than the other. I spend more time flipping through the channels than listening to any one station.
