7/29: V-103’s Frank Ski and Wanda Smith show to be simulcast on CW affiliate/69

Frank Ski and Wanda Smith are going to get some love on TV, thanks to CW-69.
The CW affiliate will air at 11 p.m. a half hour “best of” show with nine HD cameras. V-103’s morning show, which is about to celebrate its 10th anniversary in town this fall.
“Now people can not just hear us but see us,” said Smith.
But won’t this mean the morning crew will now have to dress up? “I need an endorsement for some clothes!” she joked. (Miss Sophia will probably want one, too!)
“I always dress up anyway,” Ski noted. “I’m always camera ready.” He did say the HD cameras during tests reveal even bits of dust on his mustache so he says he’s going to have to make sure he’s immaculate when the show starts until it ends.
Tom Canedo, the general manager for the CW, said he thinks many viewers who watch his station listen to Frank and Wanda. The radio morning show draws about 440,000 listeners a week, No. 2 in Atlanta only behind WSB-AM. “It’s a great way to localize the [TV] station,” Canedo said.
Billboards are coming and teasers that have already been airing on the station which will get more explicit this week. The show is scheduled to debut August 18. It will replace “The Bernie Mac Show,” which will be pushed back a half hour, along with the other shows. They’ll simply cut out a half-hour of infomercials in the middle of the night. “Bernie” usually draws about 30,000 to 35,000 viewers a night.
This is unlikely to unseat WSB-TV’s nightly news in the ratings, but it should draw a good young demographic. He said advertisers are already showing interest and he’s excited to have a local-content show, even if it’s leveraging off a fundamentally different medium that relies more on the intimacy of radio.
The CW has hired a producer who will watch the four hours of the show and cull the best 22 minutes each day.
For a couple of years earlier this decade, Turner South aired the Rick & Bubba show out of Birmingham until Fox Sports took over the network and got rid of all non-sports programming. The show is now heard in Atlanta on radio in a “best of” format on Sunday afternoons on WSB-AM.
The other morning show in town that is televised is 790/The Zone’s “Mayhem in the AM” from 7 to 8 a.m. each morning on CSS.
-Access Atlanta is doing the annual “Best of the A List.” We have a separate blog where you can vote for your favorite morning show. I’m personally confused why it’s not a straight poll; rather, it’s set up so you type in your favorite. I guess someone is going to tally it up or something like that. Here you can go to vote..
In past years, some shows have lobbied to win because they would get money for charity. I don’t know if that’s the case this year. (I need to go check.) Clearly, 104.7/The Fish’s Kevin & Taylor mentioned it on air because their fans voted heavily during the 9 a.m. hour. The Bert Show didn’t even get a vote until 10:31 a.m. after about 50 votes for Kevin & Taylor. Frank and Wanda got their first vote at 11:39 a.m. They picked up many more votes later in the day, though—almost 50.
Steve Harvey didn’t get his first vote until 1:22 p.m. but had about 20 by the end of the day. The new Morning Mess show on Star 94 as of 12:35 a.m. Tuesday had two votes that I can ascertain. Ditto with the A Team over at Hot 107.9. I haven’t seen any votes yet for Dave FM’s Zack Tyler morning show. Howard Stern has a few votes, as does NPR’s Morning Edition. Scott Slade over at WSB-AM got very few but that’s more of a news show.
Based on a quick early check of votes, Kevin & Taylor appear to have a substantial lead followed by Steve & Vikki, Bert and Frank & Wanda. The Regular Guys so far have gotten fewer votes than I had expected though they’re still in the running. The country fans have not come out in force because Cadillac and Cletus have gotten few votes so far. The sports guys at 680 and 790 haven’t gotten many votes either.
Demographically, it appears more women are voting than guys.

Thanks for the warning to steer clear of the CW network between 11p and 11:30p. How people can stand to listen to V-103’s own version of “The Morning Mess” is hard to figure out. Mike & Carol built V-103 (and Wanda Smith when she joined them not long before those two left), not Frank Ski.

I agree with TG, that show is a mess. I can tolerate Frank Ski, but Wanda and Miss Sophia is hard to swallow. I’m glad I have options which I happily exercise.

If they spend 4hrs with the show each morning, they should get about 20mins worth of decent material to put on tv. That is why I stopped listening years ago. I can’t listen for hours to hear 2 jokes. Wanda is so lame that she can’t even carry the show when Frank is not there. They have to pull Ryan Cameron off his show at 2pm to give the morning show a little substance.

I am not a fan of the radio show at all so I won’t be watching. I know that Frank puts a lot into the community, but I hate the way he assumes that all of his listeners are stupid. “This is what yall don’t know.” “Let me tell you this.” “What yall don’t know is.” Who does Frank really think his audience is???
Frank reminds me too much of Donnie Simpson from DC and I wasn’t a fan of his either.

I agree, I want RYAN CAMERON ON TV doing the radio show. I really didnt like Atlanta & Company. But he will do a great job with the radio show on TV. Emma…..You should not depend on a radio station to help with yo $hit! Just because they help the community does not mean they have a good show. Oprah is a very giving person, but I don’t watch her show and depend on her for handouts. Frank & Wanda are both well over 40yrs old still pretending to care about hip hop. Listening to them interview young hip hop celebs who can barely speak proper English is too funny.

TV and Radio Execs continue to put dumbed-down entertainment like this for Black folk on airwaves. When do we get real entertainment, real information without it being mixed in with ignorrance, comedy without buffoonery. We are force-fed shows like this, they succeed because there aren’t any alternatives. Well I guess the CW will always be a subpar network with these type of decisions.

Emma, you are funny. Don’t worry, I will not call Frank nor Wanda. You wouldn’t have to either if you listened to other shows where people actually know something and can help you help yourself! Do you ever listen to AM radio (Boortz, WAOK, he** Sean Hannity)? How about 102.5 with Warren Ballentine? You might learn a few things.
Can you really define the system? Is it the opportunity to get a free eductation K-12? The hope scholarship to go to a GA school for free? FHA to help you purchase a home. The internet (free at the library) to help you research staying out of debt? maintaining your credit? birth control options? counseling servcies? job opportunities? training programs in your area?
By the system, do you mean the prison system?
Call on Jesus or whoever your god is. Realistically, can Frank and Wanda’s regular listening audience help me? I don’t: need a new club to go to tonight; listen to hip hop like it is my Bible; need new gold teeth; rims, etc. I may be sterotyping a bit but like I said, IMHO Frank talks to his listening audience like they are stupid and that, I am not! I can’t get pass that, so, I can’t get to the substance of what he is tallking about.

GRACE & IWA Frank and Wanda have NEVER DONE ANYTHING FOR ME. SOOO WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT!!! Nor have I ever asked. And by the way IWA I do listen to other shows The Bull 94.5! And Grace, I don’t watch Oprah either and have never asked, emailed or wrote in asking for anything! I work and maintain on my own. PS: I love Warren on 102.5 listen everyday!!! Emma, don’t worry, I would not call any radio or tv station or newspaper to help me out of any problem that I might experience. That is what your family, friends or social/community organizations (i.e. churches, The Red Cross, Salvation Army, government agencies…) are for. Frank and Wanda or any other local or national celebrities are not gods. And I am sure that of the few people that they helped out of a bad situation, which is commendable, I would bet that there are others who sought their assistance and they were turned away.

Yikes!!! So now we get the chance to see their ugly mugs as well as hear their useless banter. I won’t be watching..ever. Frank is a blow hard. He comes off as the kid who got the crap beat out of him at school. He thinks he knows everything in the world, and he thinks everyone else is dumb. He talks about things he read on the internet the night before, and he considers himself an expert the next morning..puhlease!!! If I don’t like what they are talking about. If I don’t like a song they are playing. I change the station on my radio or put in a CD. Its just that simple. Its all entertainment even the AM talk shows. They all have a target audience. I listen to them all especially the sports shows. I like being entertained. Emma it seems like you need to “lick on the rapper like a lollipop”, maybe then you won’t be such a stick in the mud.

You know when Frank Ski first arrived I was so pumped. I’m from NY and he brought that vibe w/him in his musical choice. He’s still the only deejay I know that plays Dr. Buzzard and the Original Savannah Band. He plays house music, salsa, reggae, etc. However, over the years he’s become a bona fide cocky a$$ name dropper and every dang celebrity is his very, very good friend. He’s arrogant and he’s conceited. JMO! I will give him props in the area of community! Can’t take that away from him.

(2) ever notice in all the pictures you see of him, he’s always out in the clubs with his hat cocked to the side, throwing up a peace sign like he’s a teenager. What is he…about 50! If ANY haters thinks that they can pull more than a 44,000 audience and make V-103 No. 1, then step up to the plate. Go apply, show your talent and take over the show. It’s so easy for negative, ignorant people to criticize a man for trying to educate just one person on any topic. Or do you think that every topic or issue he brings to his listening audience we are already aware? If you do then you’re not only ignorant about the community you live in, but you’re just down right STUPID.
I listened to Frank Ski & Wanda when I moved to Atlanta. When I left Atlanta I found their website and I listen to them over the internet in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. Yeah that right, they get lots of love from the VI. The other day I heard them speaking about “Living Wills” and setting things in order so that our families are aware of our wishes. Well that got my master’s degree holding self thinking. Now that not to say that I was not aware of what these documents were, however it made me think of my family and how I can make sure all of ours affairs are in order(two points for the smartass Frank Ski).
Franks take the time to do so much for his community, as well as providing a show that yes sometimes my be silly, but is also educating. And anyway sometimes we all need a good laugh. So, stop the critisizing and talking about weightwatchers (especially since we can’t see your big gut),

I stopped listening to V103 years ago…And a tv show, forget about it…I wish them much success, but I don’t know about the crossover.

I never listen to V-103 anymore,it’s time for a change,young people nor people with character or dignity listen to the morning show with Frank Ski, Wanda Smith, and Sophia. Mostly people with no dignity or nothing else to do listen to this morning show.This is for the General manager of V-103,if you want to survive the future,you going to have to get rid of the entire morning crew.Frank Ski is OLD and a has been,Wanda Smith can’t talk and she sound like she don’t have a G.E.D.,Sophia don’t No what the hell she saying half of the time,Mr Sophia is confused about his gender,and I think V-103 the family station is saying that’s it’s ok to be a HOMOSEXUAL and to cross dress.

Now, with all of that aside,let me say that I love V-103 and can’t wait to see Frank and Wanda on TV, although I wish it was Ryan Cameron instead. They are obviously doing something right, and they need to keep it up. No one radio station is a good fit for everyone, and some of the ones mentioned above is not my cup of tea, but more power to them. I don’t have to put them down though, just because I don’t like what they have to offer. Frank and Wanda, if you are reading this blog, this is one that requires that well worn, (but oh so true), Porschea Foxx phrase, “LET YOUR HATERS BE YOUR MOTIVATORS”. Goodnight, all.

I quit listening to V-103 years ago,Frank Ski i tired and old, Wanda Smith can’t speak well at all,she is bad for the station because she doesn’t have the look nor does she has the carisma for today’s audience.V-103 need a younger crew in the morning,Atlanta and the surrounding cities is a young Hip-Hop and R&B city,the morning show need a fresher look, a fresher sound,and fresher voices. The Frank Ski and Wanda show will not last a year, maybe not 6 months. Tv ratings will be low after the first week,then hopefully V-103 will get rid of the entire morning crew.

this is a very honest post….when Ski first came to Atlanta..i like other native Atlantans really couldnt stand him…i think he knows this…but he changed…and became tolerable and actually a staple for the community…so now to some degree i do respect him on a few different levels.
However, regardless…he is one of the biggest or most popular hypocrites in the community…for all the good that he does…the show and what he perpetuates on the show is pushing the downfall of our community…the music, the image, the self-degradation is rampant and obvious….Wanda while good hearted essentially teaches unintentionally for women to throw themselves at men and say whatever foul things come to her mind without regard to consequence… her comments about going in the Falcons locker room and letting them have their way with her last week…while slightly humorous…was tasteless and demonstrated no class and total lack of self respect…this is what our kids hear and in that sense…its not cool and by no means acceptable…need i say anything about the fact that they have a transvestite on the radio as well?!?!…chiming right on in with Wanda and saying any and everything to our kids…wow!…if they wanted to put a personality on the air, who happens to be gay….thats fine…but this!!…truly alternative lifestyle …seriously…where is the line …is there a line…they have crossed the line so much …they dont even know where it is anymome..the peoples station..then they want to turn around and talk about important issues…it just doesnt mix…and it doesnt make sense…not saying i have the answers, but i can tell you assuredly what they are doing on the radio is doing more harm than good…because they are being hypocritical, crass and severely indecent, knowing there are young people listenting and looking to them as role models.
i do agree with previous posts that Frank preaches down on people and acts as if he knows more than they do…but the truth is there are a lot of people out there that don’t know and he does help them in that sense….so i will defend him for that … but he and the show are huge hypocrites and i will never ever let my kids listen to their show for fear they will pick up something severely damaging to their character from one of those three…(btw the only reason i listened the other day was because i didnt have any xm in the car i was driving that day…thought i might catch an interesting thoughtful discussion…instead got the wanda minicamp talk..turned it off immediately…i was disgusted with her…not the first time though)
one day someone will take a stand and hold themselves accountable for their actions…just dont know when that day will come and who it will be.

Everyone has opinions on who is better than someone else. You have a right to feel that way. But why is that you have to put someone else down to make yourself look better than others. That’s what over 90% of this blog is about. Everyone has their own opinion on which DJ is better to them or not, it is a personal decision and taste. Don’t knock somene else’s opinion just because you disagree. Frank and Wand must be fiiling some void in the Atl to be on the air for so long. Love or hate them, Evidently, the management have liked the job they have done or they wouldn’t be there. Remeber on your job, If managemnet didn’t like the job you did , you wouldn’t be there. People will always talk behind blogs because they don’t have the courage to speak their voice. Their doing their job like you go to work every day and do yours. Be thankful you have a radio show with the strength of DJ’s that V-103 has. Let’s not put one DJ down to make others look good.Put yourself in their shoes on your job. Let’s not divide our own people, it is a personal choice who you want to listen too.

Nwe she was killing me one day when she said that folks hate her because she talks proper. Excuse me there is a difference between proper and annoying. I was ROTFLMAO when that guy she went with on a date busted her. She kept saying he got me some flowers from KROger. When the person who can tell people futures was on and she was talking about her man and Nina had to say he is BIG in the industry. As if to let us know she got someone BIG. Her and everyone else has. When Wanda was talking to the kids in the Amazon she had the nerve to ask them “you would have ever gone if it wasn’t for Frank Ski”. A peraon may not have done it at that moment but later on i life they will get a chance to do what they wanna do. As if he is some kinna God or something. Any man that eats maggots, lizards and anything else that crawls will not be kissing me in the mouth. If he tries to plug his kids private school one mo time I am gonna SCREAM!!!!!!! It is amazing how he talks about all of the women in his wife’s fmaily but he never talks about his association with the men in her family such as uncles/cousins. He probably feel threatened by them or they probably van’t stand him.

I use to be a fan of this morning show when I first moved up here four years ago, but I was quickly turned off from it because I am not a big hip hop fan. So now I mainly listen to 102.5 or the jazz station where I don’t have to hear the same songs as 107.9.

I was so very frustrated with mainstream radio that I purchased a Satellite Service, and this is the best thing I could have done. The DJ’S do converse somehwhat, but as nearly as much as local yokels we have here in the Metro Atlanta Area. Frank Ski is a creepy character that gets his jollies by attemting to low rate his devoted listeners. Wanda speaks ignorance evertime she opens her pie hole. Last but not least Mister Sophia is disgrace to any person that is dealing with transgender issues. Firstly he’s very ugly, loud, stupid and alley all rolled up into one gigantic hideous body. The only thing I miss about V-103 is Mike and Carol.

Now if they are lurking on these comments he may say “these are haters” but Frank you need to understand that people who come from money or have it, DONT sit and talk about it all day/night (nobody cares about the wine/champagne tastings and Puffy uses you when he needs to get an artist some radio play). Frank is also living in the past—his Doo Doo Brown Days, being a half a** DJ in Baltimore,and dating Toni Braxton. WHO cares! If you listen closely, Frank talks about the same issues over and over—he’s REALLY not a smart man. Take it from a woman with a PhD. What I don’t get is how he tries to mingle with Atlanta’s elite and he doesn’t have a college degree. Frank how can you mentor kids in Africa (or where ever you are) and you don’t have a college degree? Have a discussion about THAT one morning k (*in Wanda’s voice)? Now to Wanda and MIss Sophia I LIKE. Because they are as raw as it gets but they are REAL. No matter what people say, they are the realest people. I usually listen to XM radio and The Bert Show occasionally (good show)..I ONLY listen to V103 when Ryan sits in for Frank. I love it then. V103 should seriously rethink the line up because I think the ratings would sky rocket if Ryan were to replace Frank. And Nina just needs to go away—her voice is DEF not made for radio—her over the top screaming/squeals are SO annoying. But yes execs—CONSIDER PLACING RYAN IN THE MORNING and maybe give Frank a talk radio show so he can discuss his pee-wee leauge team, his next wine tasting, having dinner two tables from Puffy, and whatever else is on his simple mind. Mr. Sophia being referred to as Ms is utterly disgusting..Frank is cool..he could really be a wealth of information to the community if he had a radio partner who wa bright..Plus the same old tunes are sonstantly in rotation..it’s sooo much HOT generes out there. My vaote is for Barack and to put Frank at the 200P slot alos put Ryan and L in the 8am slot and fire the morning shows producer. You could all learn something for Big Bo’s show. Atlanta is a mecca but the Hiphop shows suck with the exception of the Ryan King..Candy

I hope you didn’t write your doctoral thesis in the manner in which you wrote your blog or maybe you chose the non-thesis program. Proper communication, verbally and non-verbally, is essential if you want to brag about your Ph.D or get a point across even on a blog. However, I applaud you for having the fortitude and patience to obtain your advanced degree.
To those who are commenting about Frank Ski’s lack of a college education,
It doesn’t matter if Frank Ski doesn’t have a college degree. The school of hard knocks count also. Too many Blacks throw their degrees around like a badge of honor. I am a college graduate. My degree is just the foundation I use to build my family’s future. In fact, sometimes a degree can be a hindrance to truly moving to your potential. (High wage earners without college degrees: Bill Gates, Oprah Winfrey, Tiger Woods…)
If the degree isn’t working to give you a better life, i.e., independence from corporate America, you are much in the same boat as everyone else. You are dependent on the whims of others.
When we obtain degrees, we must strive to become financially independent by becoming entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurship, wise investments, wise spending and diligent saving are the keys to independence.
The V-103 Morning Show may not be the best in the world, but I am sure Frank Ski is preparing for a rainy day. If listeners wanted to hear any of you on a morning show and you had an opportunity to make big bucks, you would be on the radio in a hot minute.
Let’s focus on the real problems in the community.

The negative comments are a true indication that we as a people love to pull each other down. If you don’t like the Frank & Wanda morning show, then don’t listen to it. That’s all to it. But to slander Frank & Wanda, insult their character is exactly what “Master” has taught us to do. STOP it! We are forever bringing ourselves down. Stop being a house slave and do something YOURSELF in the community to improve our people. Maybe then you won’t have time to criticize these brothers and sisters that are at the very minimum helping somebody out of the 400,000 listeners that listen to them every week! I usually don’t read blogs on ajc but I thought this one was hilarious. While I don’t agree with (or listen to) the Frank & Wanda show for many of the same reasons mentioned above, I don’t hate the show because of a “crab in a bucket” mentality - the same would apply regardless of the race. And I appreciate the opportunity to state my opinion, and bring to light that much of our (meaning the people who don’t like the show) are likely frustrated because of the lack of choices. V103 should fill a void with the voice of those falling between the 107.9 genre and the oldies stations. Back in the day, that’s exactly what it used to do. Now as the music lessens in quality but heightened in number of rotations, it seems that the morning show message and talks have gone the same way. Frank continues to act like a know-it all to not only the listeners but his own co-host - between the interruptions and the assumption that his audience is unaware of community and national issues is discouraging and offensive. Although I have no doubt that their show is #2, it’s sad to see such a contradictory platform of ignorance in music and “do-goods” for people who need it. The positivity that could be everpresent on the morning show is overshadowed by ignorance and arrogance. But since I don’t get paid big bucks to state my opinion, I’m sure there will be no change. In the meantime, I will continue to skip V103 on my presets until after 10 am.

I think they have the worst morning show ever. They are not funny, and can not speak to current/world events. I think Ryan Cameron would be an excellent candidate , to carry that program.

This is the most ridiculous thing Ive heard thus far! The Frank and Wanda morning show sucks! (Mr)sophia is confused and looks like magic johnson with a wig! Maybe not that nice looking! In order to be on TV you should have a TV face! Wanda? Mouth full of gold teeth and looks like cousin june bug! Please spare us!

I am so tired of Frank & Wanda.
Frank “knows everything” and Wanda is “ghetto”, still wearing that gold tooth in the front of her mouth. Time is out for that. Have it replace. I was a listener when Mike Roberts/Carol Blackmon was on. I liked Ms. Fox and glad she has returned, but most of all RYAN CAMERON IS THE MAN!!!! HE MAKES THE STATION. HE CAN CARRY ALL TIME SLOTS BY HIMSELF. I think Elle is lucky to have him as a mentor. Now back to Frank/Wanda. I’m tired of females calling-in begging. When Thanksgiving/Christmas comes, they write or call (crying) about how they have all these kids and no help. You women should have thought about all of that while “spreading your legs”. Those women didn’t know how to stop (or learn) from one child, they continued and when holiday’s arrive, they call-in begging. It also bothers me how some listeners rush to give these beggers $, cars, etc. Just to mention one story in particular: a woman son wrote a letter about him, his sister and mother ate Thanksgivng dinner on the floor. They didn’t have no dinning room furniture. The next thing my co-workers and I knew, Rev. Craig Oliver (Elizabeth Baptist Church) called with $5000. Tiffany Cochran called with $2000. Many more donations came in. I bacame upset because there are people who actually “didn’t have any food”, forget eating from a dinning room table. People without food wouldn’t have mind the floor. The next incident is the lady who called-in about a “rat” in her apartment and how she has to walk miles to the nearest bus. Frank Ski left the station and went to her apt himself. Once again, here comes the donations. Malcolm Cunningham Ford, I believe Tyle Perry (if not on this situation, there’s others), and so on. There are many people living with issues much worse than some of the ones I hear people calling in crying about, including myself, but I keep the faith and keep fighting. I can go on and on. I have chosen to listen to Tom Joyner in the mornings; however, I DON’T MISS RYAN. Finally, why do Frank play Bishop Eddie Long and Rev Craig Oliver for inspiration? They aren’t the best role models. Bishop Long church doesn’t help people in need unless they are a member/tither of his church. God helped everybody. Rev Oliver has been married twice with a child by both women. The bible say, “better, worse, until death do you apart”. What part of that he don’t get?

Why do we need to be so negative to other people? What God has for them it is for them. What God has for you it is for you. Don’t knock your own blessing. The power is in the tongue. What is does for others and we do the same thing for you. It may be their season. The question you all need to be asking yourself when is YOUR SEASON!!! Ask and it shall be giving until to you. Pray that they say something a person needs to hear and they receive God in the message. Just let God have his way. They need the whole armour of God on their side dealing with people like you all. First and foremost, stay off my pastor!! You sound very bitter and jealous that other people are getting what you crave for yourself. Because you have not gotten it, you sit there and judge others because of your unhappiness with yourself and your own conditions; i.e. “There are many people living with issues much worse than some of the ones I hear people calling in crying about, including myself, but I keep the faith and keep fighting.”
Sweetie, being a pastor does not automatically a person PERFECT. There are no perfect beings on this planet, and their job titles won’t make that change. When you become a member of a church body instead of being a faithful visitor you acquire certain responsibilities such as tithing, giving of your time and talents for the Lord’s work, and reaching and motivating others to do the same. As a result, you also earn certain privileges as part of the body of that church too … such as the right to seek assistance when in need. After giving so much of yourself, it’s only fair to receive it in return. In my personal opinion, with the low level of outside help (from non-members & gov’t institutions), if my church or any other consistently gave all they had to everybody OUTside the church, what would be left for those INside the church? We definitely give and work hard for the community, but just because a church is a non-profit doesn’t mean that there are no bills that have to be taken care of on behalf of the church. It’s not going to run itself.
As far as my pastor’s (Craig L. Oliver) personal life, you need to get a life! So what he’s been married twice and has a child by each wife. The fact that he married the mothers of his children still puts him in a league waaaaay outside the norm. Considering the fact that over 75% of marriages in the church end in divorce, he’s not alone. It doesn’t make it right, but let SHE who is without sin cast the first stone. So what his first marriage didn’t work. That’s between him, his ex-wife, and God. So stay out of his business and get some of your own. People like you are a trip because you quote scripture when it’s convenient for you to prove your judgmental point. You sit and gossip about the lives of others (I don’t know you but I can guarantee you’ve ranted and raved these same statements to anybody willing to listen) and complain about people begging when “did it to themselves” but then get mad in the same comment because other people that have needs that YOU judge to be better than someone else’s needs can’t get it from the same sources. A “beggar” is a “beggar”. One isn’t better than another.
God forbid you’re on the receiving end of a lay-off notice soon and you end up in dire need of assistance from someone. Guess you’ll be the beggar then and that’ll be your fault too. I hope you don’t have any children because someone will be ranting about you not “keeping your legs closed” knowing that you couldn’t provide. Now who would know that they’d lose their job and end up “begging” for a handout. If you can see into the future, you may be in the wrong line of work.
Keep the faith my brothers and sisters out there in need. Don’t let naysayers like “So Tired” keep you from seeking out the blessings of God in whatever form they arrive in. Peace and Love!

Hello, my name is MS.Houston. First of all i would love to say i love your tv show, and god will bless you all for your deeds. Iam a single mother of two, boy and girl. As we all know it is a recession at this time.I am a person with much pride, but i dont have too much pride when it comes to my kids. About three months ago my place was broken into which forced me to move. Because of living arrangement it was best for me to send my kids to stay with their dad and grandma in Mcintyre Ga. Since then things have went down hill. My job has slowed up, which means i have less then half of my income commin in. And this holiday has been the most depressin then ever. If you all could just help me make this christmas happen for my kids, i would work for free if thats what it would take.I have lost pretty much everything but my kids would never know. They dont want for much, but to just have something it would be a christmas to remember. THANK, WITH MUCH LOVE MS. HOUSTON
