11/5: “Real Housewives of Atlanta” episode No. 5 recap. Do you know how to spell cat?

After spending the night before watching election results, I feel beyond silly having to recap “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” But this is my job. Thank goodness for the DVR because I did not watch this when it aired last night three times in a row on Bravo.

This is yet another episode focused around Kim, both her efforts to become a country singer and her burgeoning feud with former BFF NeNe. At Barnsley Gardens, minus Kim and Sheree, DeShawn and Lisa watch NeNe get drunk and mock Kim’s country singing aspirations, her looks and the assertion Dallas Austin is helping Kim’s musical desires because he’s friends with Big Poppa. (As usual, NeNe is pretty darn funny. Funniest singing line: “I’m 29 but I’m really 89!)”)
This routine gets back to Kim via Sheree, who heard about it second hand from an unknown source. Kim is deeply offended. She blows off NeNe during a shopping trip. When DeShawn (while dining with NeNe at Chima) calls Kim to see if they can clear the air, Kim hangs up on her. Kim and Sheree bond over how awful NeNe is. “She’s a wannabe. She’s a hater,” Sheree said. Kim decides to text NeNe to tell her off — which is so, like, “Gossip Girl.” Why not say it to her in person?
Here’s the text: “I can’t believed [sic] the ** you talked about me! You have no class you are so evil! Don’t ever call me again. You are a low budget bitch!”
(NeNe, inspired by DeShawn, wants to start her own foundation Twisted Hearts to helps battered women, having been there herself. She comes across as sincere and realistic, wanting to raise $20K in her first brunch fundraiser as opposed to DeShawn’s $1 million.)
We also finally get to see Kim sing. Or at least try to sing. She is awful. She even admits (somewhat) that she needs work. A LOT of work.
Super vocal coach Jan Smith (who has worked with the likes of Usher, Sugarland, Mariah Carey, et. al) tells Kim to her face that she is like a prettily constructed house with a major crack in the foundation and that she doesn’t know what she’s doing as a singer. This results in a comment from the annals of deluded, arrogant “American Idol” tryout singers: “Jan is nitpicking me. She says I don’t know the ABC’s of music. I don’t need to. I’m a singer.”
My favorite moment is when Kim recounts her meeting with Jan at Rosa Mexicana before Dallas Austin:
“She goes, ‘Okay, you have a beautiful house, beautiful furniture, beautiful chandeliers, but there’s a crack in the foundation.’ I said, ‘What do you mean?’ ‘You’re not knowledgeable on music.’ ‘Is that hard to learn?’ ‘No.’ She’s like, ‘When you were born, what’s two plus two Kim?’ I said, ‘Four.’ ‘How do you spell cat’ I said, ‘K-A-T.’ She’s like, ‘Did you know that when you were two?’ “
Let’s just leave this recap at that. Kim, though, might call this a R-E-K-A-P.

Lisa is indeed two-faced! How you going to say you don’t like mess, but yet you pass on info that you know will start……..yes, mess. DeShawn is a sweetie though, I like the fact that she doesn’t get too involved in the cat fights but trys to help the others remain civil.
Producers, please don’t subject us again to Kim’s non-singing a$$! Dallas knows damn well this, made-up, 1/2 wig wearing, no class, wannabe has no talent and so does her fake a$$ friend Sheree.

Kim needs a reality check…she cant sing…singers sing…she is afraid to sing because she cant…how does she think she can sing smoking 20 cigs a day? That explains why she looks sooo old! I never heard of Dallas Austin, but he must not be that great of a music producer to been seen in the same room, much less talking with,, talentless Kim. If he is all that in the Industry his credibility just plummeted—Big Poppa must have him on the payroll or Kim is doing him too.

First of all, Sheree is a manipulator, and Kim’s dumb, dingy, big-boobed, no-singing blonde headed behind is too stupid to realize that Sheree is just using her to get at NeNe,now if I was NeNe I would have gotten “gangster” on that ass and as soon as I’d gotten that text from Miss Big Boobed Blonde-headed Kim, I would have rode out to that heifer’s house and knocked on that door and said What’s up with that text, and see if she was woman enough to say it in my face.

This show is a real trip. If you want to watch a show with Real Housewives check out the first show the ladies from Orange County. That show was the best of them all. All the ladies were friends and they lived in the same gated community. This show is a true MESS. NeNe is the one who seem for real. DeShawn is okay appears to have a heart and don’t like mess. Lisa is a trip she talk one thing but does another. Why don’t she have her child or children she had with Keith Sweat? Kim and Sheree need to sit down somewhere. Kim never need to tell her age of 29 when she look 49. Sheree is not cute at all with the pound of makeup on her face. Instead of her buying all the shoes and clothes she need to pay attention and take her son to get some braces.

i just started watching during bravo’s reairs. if kim has as much money as she wants everyone to believe she has…why on earth would her child’s music teacher look like a refugee from heehaw? when she played those songs for dallas, i thought his face was priceless. most people who sing take care of their voice, no smoking and excessive drinking. never do you see her drinking hot lemon water or tea to sooth her vocal chords. what’s really frightening is she has 2 daughters who will follow in their mother’s footsteps. she just needs to go back to her double wide. big pappa….whomever he is….sir, you can do much better. i’d like to see nene and vicki from rhoc interact. i think nene would put vicki in her place.

HOLLYWOOD - Music maker Dallas Austin has alleged female pop stars Christina Aguilera and Joss Stone offered to perform sexual favors in exchange for his producing skills on their albums.
The Grammy-winning songwriter - who has produced songs for Michael Jackson, Madonna and TLC - accuses the singers of being so desperate to work with him, they would offer their bodies to him and his friends - including Aguilera’s now husband, Jordan Bratman.

This whole show is a disgrace and embarrassment to Atlanta. How silly can these grown women get? People are homeless and dying and they sit around and shop, gossip and talk about each other. I will bet Lisa is the one that snitched. She’s a loud mouth little sneaky thing. She has no class at all. So embarrassing. You can clearly see that she is trying too hard. Lisa ‘s hiding something ! if she does not have custody of her kids.. or can make decision for her kids..over Keith Sweat, that speaks volumes. This is so funny, I have read everyone response and they all feel the same as I do. Kim…Sweetie, “YOU CAN NOT SING!!!! Sharee, are you sure you are not still in high school? Lisa seems to be an opportunist in the sense that she will say anything to get over or be your friend for that moment and then she switches sides and passes on the things said when she was hanging out on the other side. I don’t think NeNe was spreading the malicious gossip, I feel like it is Lisa she was there, then she tells everyone she sees and these people start calling Sheree who now manipulates Kim who has all her brains in her boobs andreact foolishly giving the whole world a good laugh. Lisa is a hustler and a fast talker, she can run a con on you before you realize you have been conned. What is a friend if that friend isn’t honest with you. Kim has been angry with NeNe since NeNed didn’t embrace her singing career and that is when she became friends with Sheree, it’s all pyschological people. Too bad the real housewives of Atlanta aren’t represented here, at least 5 female members of my own family are the real deal.

furthermore, with the exception of NeNe, why do these women think they are so great, what have anyone of them really done, Lisa is chasing the almighty dollar at break neck speed, Sheree thinks she’s some great beauty, NOT, there are beautiful women with money everywhere, and women who have made their own money, women running their corporations, Kim obviously is the other woman, I hope she is banking some of this wealth for hard times, I guess botox will hold her looks up when they start to fall. Thank you, Kim, for undermining the years of vocal lessons, music theory, and hard work that I put into developing my instrument aka my voice to the level of perfection that it has. Thank you for promoting yet again the naive belief that singing is so easy that anyone with a mouth and lungs can do it, and that singers are in no way to be considered as being on the same level as musicians. NeNe obviously know a lot about Kim since she has known her 3-years. In her song, she mentioned Kim only had Dallas Austin’s attention because of her man (Kim’s man). I can’t imagine knowing someone for three years whom I call a good friend and not know who her man is. I believe NeNe knows who Big Poppa is and if Kim continues, NeNe will let the KAT out of the bag.

I agree with most of you saying it was Lisa that told. She wants to be such a “mature” and professonal woman. I think someone should tell Lisa, you don’t have to try that hard if it was genuine and really coming from within. Kim and Sheree needs each other because they are always complimenting each other when they are together. They are very low self-esteem right now and will stay attached because no one else will fill their big azz heads with lies but the TWO of them. Deshawn, her intentions were good, but once she finds out that Kim hung up on her, she needs to stop speaking to her. Kim and Sheree are the one single ones trying to fit in, because they don’t have husbands. I hope that Sheree doesn’t get anywhere near a seven figure divorce settlement from her soon to be ex-husband. Kim, needs to get some common sense and start saving because the botox won’t be able to help you for long.

Ok, NeNe is beyond real and her husband loves the crap out of her. I did too like Lisa, but yeah she is two face - Deshawn just doesn’t have a clue, but clearly does not like mess. Sheree has always been fake to me, epecially take it that she has an older daughter that she does not speak of at all, who cares you had her at age 15 - do you know how many other women had children that young, hell I think raising them and being there is a strong woman - Kim is just plain childish, she can not sing, I think she just wants to do this b/c she can, I bet she will be boo’d off the first segment of American Idol, come on she clearly has to know she can’t sing, Big Pappa can’t make that happen, also I hope she saving her diamonds b/c when the next Kim comes along Big Pappa is out like shout!

The women on this show think that money = class…wrong.
They make black women everywhere appear sallow and superficial. I don’t think any of them have a clue and if this is how they want to portray wealth, I’d rather be poor with self-esteem and ethnics.

I watched the show a couple of times and noticed that Deshawn spends a lot of money and don’t work. She needs to slow down her spending because her husbands team is trying not to pay him his 7.5 million dollar salary this year because of his injury. He had to take a job as an anaylst on the NBA network. So her high living may come to an end

I love watching this show, NE-NE is by far the realist chick on the show. Lisa is pretty cool, although I never heard of her husband “Ed Hartwell” who is this dude? I’ve been following football for over twenty years and I never heard of him. I know for a fact that Kim is not any damn! 29 years old. She has to be more like 39. How many 29 year old women do you know that get Botox?. I bet Big Papa is Quincy Jones or some old man with a lot of $$ to waste. As soon as I saw Kim talking about NeNe on the previous episodes of how she doesn’t like how she’s always talking about people, I knew it was going to be some mess. On one episode, she’s your best friend you have her back regardless and the next your tired of her. Seems like Kim turned her back on NeNe way before NeNe freestlyed her hilarious song, including talking about NeNe to Sheree. And that is all Sheree, who’s real name is probably Sherry, needed to keep the fire going. She is so OBVIOUSLY messy, lonely, and jealous of NeNe (who has a successful man that loves her for her) and to top it off she lies. She told Kim she was in the wine cellar when the mess went down at her party, while the cameras showed her mingling and not wanting to take her butt to the door. She’s as fake as Kim’s wigs. And if she was really Kim’s friend she would have told her how to spell C-A-T, I know NeNe would have. Kim and Sheree need each other. If they were all women enough, they would ask NeNe to her face what she’s been saying…I’m sure NeNe will speak her mind and let them know. But MESS is good I guess when you have nothing else going for you, it will definately keep you busy. DeShawn is a beautiful black woman who lucked up with her husband but doesn’t have a clue otherwise. Lisa and her husband are as messy as Sheree and Kim. It was 6 people in the limo when the song went down so who do you think told? Not Eric Snow and his wife because Eric actually has a life and plays sports so gossip is not on his mind and DeShawn didn’t even put 2 and 2 together. Bottom line, I love NeNe! First of all I think the show is very entertaining and let’s remember . . the show is edited to show the “good” stuff, otherwise we wouldn’t tune in every week. Also, according to Lisa’s website, her two boys with Keith Sweat aren’t on the show because Keith wasn’t having it. It wouldn’t sign a waiver. Lisa said he didn’t want the kids portrayed in a bad light. So that’s why you don’t see them. But I say coodos to Lisa and her husband because at least we see them doing business transactions and not just sitting around spending money. They are making it too. As for Kim, she drives me nuts everytime I hear her say THANKS BIG POPPA. Girl hasn’t a clue and I feel sorry for her girls. Sheree … don’t know what to say about a woman who wants 7 figures from her divorce settlement to fund her lavish lifestyle and won’t teach her kids the value of a dollar. Her own words, she doesn’t put a limit on her kids because she doesn’t have to. DeShawn . . her voice drives me crazy but I guess she’s a sweetie. NeNe . . she’s straight ghetto fabulous. Too funny for me. Like most comments say, NeNe keeps it real. Straight thug real. That’s cool. Lastly, I’ve only seen DeShawn attend church. Wonder about the rest of the cast. I was very dissapointed after watching the last episode. NeNe was tipsy or drunk and was only having fun. Lisa was wrong for carrying the bone to fake Sheree. When Lisa told Sheree about NeNe’s song, she should have at least told the entire truth. She should have stated that NeNe had too much to drink and was only playing around. Since Lisa says that if she’s going to say something, she’ll say it to your face, then she should have been a true friend by not speaking on what NeNe said and calling all the “Real Housewives” in a meeting to clear the air.
Kim portrays herself as being very weak and wanting to do whatever it takes to gain Sheree’s friendship. It’s really beginnig to be very sickening. Kim be the woman I know you can be and call NeNe and speak to her personally about what’s bothering you. Your daughter, NeNe, and the kids had an awesome relationship and rumors that you know not to be true are not worth losing a friendship over.

I want to know what happened to the Spelhouse crew? Atlanta is full of old money/old guard traditions. I know most of the Black elite wouldn’t be caught dead on this show, but damn! I know my Atlanta can represent better than this. I knew some snobby ass Women at Spelman and I knew some Ne Ne’s. It would of been a more accurate show to see the new money trying to mingle with the old money.
Black Atlanta is big on sororities, charities, fundraisers, the Links, dignity and everything else that you can think of that the elite would be apart of. It’s like a competition of who does the most and who is the most exclusive. Don’t get me wrong this show is very interesting (cuz, i tune in every Tuesday), but I would of like to see the old money with the new money. Just sayin’.

I think RHA is ridiculously excellent. As viewers we see select snippets of these families’ lifestyles and from there we can individually decide to love them or hate them. Either you relate, or you don’t. I love this show for its pure entertainment value, but I’m not going to individually knock any of the women because you’ve all made some excellent points already!
The bottom line is regardless of whether or not the editing is fairly portraying them and their story, these women choose to say and do the things we see when the show airs. And they are getting exactly what they want! I doubt any of this is scripted because it doesn’t have to be. Some of their antics are for effect (a la sweeping grand entrances or purposely mispronouncing “poisson”- I mean, anyone who has seen The Little Mermaid should know that word) but I feel that these women are truly being who they wish to be on camera, and are smarter than they look and even more manipulative than they seem. (Nursing degrees are not exactly easy to obtain, and hello: only some women know just the right way to find, bait, and hook the right catch, then string them along and deep fry em until well done).
Each woman has a fragmented past, and we can only wonder why one of true social stature and influence would open themselves to be scrutinized and humiliated (I mean real folks, not bureaucrats). Personally, I would rather not have reruns of my life’s mistakes playing over and over again, and can you imagine the extended families’ reactions to the show? Obviously, its all about personal gain- not the pay per episode, but furthering those careers-slash-aspirations of careers. Regardless of if that goal is taking a kitchen table hobby worldwide, finally learning how to hold a note at age 29, or simply snagging a fresh, new baller, these women all have something in common.
They are trying to escape their childhoods/pasts and refinish their lives with a shiny, new veneer. If they truly enjoyed their own experiences growing up, they would slow down, stop trying to conquer the world, and relish in being mothers and real housewives. Maybe we would see more meaningful storylines involving the kids. Yeah, they have their parenting moments here and there, but they don’t seem genuine (Louis bags? Expensive suits? What happened to family activites you can’t put price tags on?)
I just see a lot of pain not being talked about, or being covered with euphamisms. Only one will share part of her true self with us, and that’s NeNe. That’s why she is the one we are drawn to the most, even though not the most beautiful, rich, book-smart or cultured.
I’ll compare the others to the cake Kim ordered for her daughter’s bday. Interesting to look at, but has no flavor.
I still love analyzing the heck out of this show! This is the perfect forum to do it-you’re all hilarious..

I lost respect for Sheree after she failed to put NeNe on the guest list for her party and had the nerve to say she didn’t need the drama. if that was my friend, i would have gone up there to get her. these women need to know what it is like to have nothing then maybe they wouldn’t act like a bunch of spoiled brats…I love Greg he is such a supportive husband and I love that NeNe has decided to do something that is close to her heart. What is the deal with uneducated blacks that can NOT pronounce “ASK”? It’s ASK not AKS! And when you say, “There were 3 kats in the hat.” why do so many uneducated black people say, “It was 3 kats in the hat.”???? It and there have two completely different meanings! What gives?
DeShawn, you are blowing through that $$ like water and if you are not investing any of it, when Eric retires soon, you will not have much or any when it comes retirement time in your later years! Obama is going to hit your $$ like you have never seen and I am not being tacky but just telling you straight up! Jimmy Carter had my family in the 75% tax bracket in the 1970’s and they said that Obama could get there or even 80% bracket! Believe me, you will see a mess of hurt with the tax hikes that will come. Really all these folks on this show will be shocked but DeShawn doesn’t seem to have a clue as to the worth of a dollar. I wonder what their accountant says about all her spending? When she and Eric never had $ and now they do, they think it can never end and it can be gone just like that if his injury gets worse and he will age and Cleveland will have enough of him, no doubt. It comes to an end for all athletes. Save some of that money.
Lisa-Is a BORING character on the show and I do think she is the one that told Sheree about what NeNe sang in the limo. I think she is only money hungry and you watch where she and her husband’s relationship ends up, you just watch! She is too high energy for him. NeNe-I think this lady is fun, fun, fun! I love people that are WYSIWYG’s. (What you see is what you get!) I was really surprised that she was such good friends with that total fake EVERYTHING Kim. What kind of judgement is that? Oh and by the way, Kim’s voice is the absolutely worst but I think Madonna’s voice is and was terrible since she began but they can do A LOT with the mastery of computers so she might become a BIG STAR!!! Ok, I can’t hold my huge laugh inside anymore!!! That woman has delusions of grandeur!! How did anyone except NeNe keep from flat out busting out laughing when they heard her try to sing???? HOW??? I would have said straight up, “Is this a joke?”. She couldn’t hold a note if it was in a suitcase!!! NeNe, you need to dump these losers and find some down to earth women to hang out with and your husband Greg is a keeper. I love that he gave your son an investment check for his birthday! Awesome! This show really makes a real lady hurt deep inside. These women need someone to care. Kim and Sheree need help fast. Kim is a user trying to get in where ever she can and Sheree is sad and need to focus on her children and getting a real job. Lisa made the world see who she really was yes a snake. There is something about Lisa’s husband that makes you ? Some things. DeShawn is clueless and someone must help her in many areas. NeNe is and her stylist friend are the only REAL PEOPLE on the show. Kim needs to go to a hair dresser and let them tell her the truth about her hair. Sheree is a wannabe she did not even buy anything from DeShawn at her party but just talked about her as she does everyone. Lisa and her husband are back stabbers but act like they are upright. Why would you go back and tell Sheree that knowing she does not like NeNe and she would tell Kim. Lisa spend time with your sons and take off the power couple front. Lisa is a Power Couple instigator from the first party and then to DeShawns party. Sheree you look HARD when you are trying to be cute. NO HATER,just facts, someone needs to tell you all. My sister loves this show. I can only say that I am embarrassed by it all. I am sure they could have found a better group of women, but maybe their lives would not have been as exciting.
I am in agreement with Cara and others. Through process of elimination, I think Quincy Jones is Big Papa.
As for Kim and Shehee, Kim is to full of herself to realize that Shehee is only dealing with her to get a rich man - maybe Big Papa. They deserve each other. And Kim, I can hook you up with a great stylist who specializes in weaving white/straight hair. As for low budget and no class, that would be you. Money does not buy you class and you have none. Also, what type of message are you sending your children? When you got that SUV and said to your children what lucky girls you all were. I feel for you and your children and hope that they don’t spend their lives trying to find a meal ticket like you.
Nene is real, she questioned Kim’s singing talent directly to her face when she went over to hear the songs. Nene can be a bit much, but her friends can rein her in when needed. That is what real friends do.
Deshawn, you need to get rid of all of that staff, downsize the house, and spend quality time with your children and husband and work on your girls program. Having money does not dictate the need for so much help. It isnt’ like you have a house full of children. I am proud of you and your husbands relationship, but surround yourself with mentors and others who can guide you in the direction you want to go with your program and help you with a plan. You have a good heart, but you don’t have all of the skills needed to orchestrate an event like your fundraiser. Great idea, wrong marketing and distribution. Look to those who have done it successfully in the past to guide you. Beware of Atlanta, you are new to the scene and their are plenty of folks who look the part (wealthy ) and are only perpetrating. Learn to know the difference! Watch your money it will be gone real quick if you don’t have a good financial plan!

As for the show, I didn’t like NeNe at first, but she has grown on me. I didn’t like her song however. I can’t imagine singing a song like that about someone I called a friend. IT was wrong ahd she should apologize. Kim’s feelings were hurt.
Sheree isn’t so perfect looking to me, but beauty is subjective. I liked Lisa until she decided to tell. That was just wrong. Some things are better left unsaid. Plus…this was the first episode when she didn’t try to convince us how happy she is now without Keith in her life.
DeShawn is a sweet, lost puppy. She has a good heart, but she really needs to get a job. Find something constructive to do with her life. The foundation doesn’t seem to have a real purpose. She should definitely get with someone and create a written plan.
I’ve enjoyed watching the show. I used to get my hair done at N’Seya where Sheree went before they closed. That was fun. The rest of the show seems to be centered in Alpharetta. That’s not Atlanta. It would’ve been nice to see more acutal Atlanta scenes. I will keep watching. It’s a bit of drama that I love. BTW, please stop calling every black woman that’s loud “ghetto*. Why can’t they just be loud women?

One more thing…I could care less that Kim wears a wig, it just needs to look more natural. If she is indeed rich, why not get hooked up? You can’t tell me that in Atlanta you can’t find a good stylist.

That’s all they achieved. I agree that NeNe is the favorite, because she actually overcame poverty, though she only did that by getting married. But I think she actually came from somewhere. It gives her depth. Kim is completely dilusional, she thinks she is HOTT and she is just average and overly made-up. Ok, I have watched all of the housewives (Organe County, New York and now ATL). I thought that the housewives of NY was BAD and they keep stuff going. But these ladies OMG. This is one of those shows that you just have to tune in every Tuesday. Now NeNe is REAL…she is keeping it REAL in the ATL. But does she/they really have that kind of money to buy those suits for her son. Lisa-I started off liking her but now I am wondering. She and her husband (who is now playing for Oakland Raiders-for 1 year). Are really two-faced. If you notice in Tuesday show- they only showed part of what they were saying. Ok, I agree DeShawn needs to tighten up that WEAVE (her edges are GONE). But overall she is nice-now think about this…she could have been the one to mention it to Kim…ya never know. She (DeShawn- is now hanging out with NeNe all of a sudden hummmmmmmm). Now to Kim and Sheree- what do you say. Sheree is just trying to get on NeNe nerves by being Kim’s friend and etc. Didn’t we play those games in elementary, middle and high shool. Sheree- get a life and hope that you get that BIG settlement from your ex-husband. Really Sheree needs a JOB, comb her daughters hair and get her son a hair cut. If Sheree have so much money, why is her daughter asking her friends to borrow money constantly. Me and my girlfriends can never understand why. For all of you who don’t like the show, there are options, change the channel, turn your set off, etc. I watch the show for entertainment purposes only! I didn’t expect anything different from this show than what I’ve seen. If you watched 1 episode and didn’t care for it, that’s understandable, but if you watched twice, then your a$$ is hooked like the rest of us!
RJ - Lisa and Sheree’s hair look better because it’s their real hair. NeNe and DeShawn wear “sew-in” weaves and Kim has that damn half-wig on top of her hair (who knows why!)

Fling you are so right about Lisa from the onset I kept saying why does she keep bashing her ex and keep talking about him like she misses him or something he can’t be all wrong. I don’t see her as professional (least we forget the chomping of the gum while trying to sell a home) and also the presentation where she just announced we will work hard and then pointed to her husband who did the real presentation. She plays on her looks and plays innocent - she’s a gold digger trying to play classy. She’s a pretty lady and has a nice shape - just no substance. I really feel sorry for these women. Nene do your own thing you won’t miss them long. You have a great relationship and and wonderful family just focus on that

i really did not want right a response for this show. but after sitting here and watching this latest episode i just couldn’t help. i agree with nene when she says that sheree is not a good person. sheree is up to something and because if anyone with any kind of hearing can sit there and listen to kim sing and think that she has a beautiful voice and talent then they are not being a friend. i think she is using kim for something but i just can’t put my finger on it. for kim to get upset at the voice coach for offering her critiques of her voice was so funny. this lady is doing what her friends need to be doing and telling her that she can’t sing. the voice coach was being nice but it needed to be said. if i was a country singer, i would not want her representing my genre of music. nene has more of a voice than kim and she’s not even trying to sing. big poppa is just paying for another whim of this woman and dallas is just going along with it. i’m listening to her now it’s just awful. i think like some of the other posters that lisa told what was happenend in the limo. lisa has an agenda too, she’s always on the perimeter of some mess because she doesn’t want to really be in the middle of it. it’s something about her that is not quite right. i think nene kind of made lisa’s husband mad when she made the statement about a woman going from athlete to athlete as being a gold digger. eventhough i think she was referring to sheree but i think ed didn’t like it. maybe because that’s how he got lisa. deshawn is okay at times but someone needs to sit her down and really get this idea of atlanta’s elite out of her thinking. i’m sorry i don’t really see any of these ladies as being the elite of anything. i like nene but she needs polishing. when she out in public with her husband i think he got a little embarrassed by her. she’s real but you can still you can still be real and a lady without being so loud. kim and sheree both deserve each other because they are fake. kim has talk much trash about sheree also and now it’s like sheree is her best friend. this series is so bad but i must admit, it keeps me watching watching i get to see how the “elite” of atlanta act. i guess maybe i should be happy i’m just middle class.

We all know these women doesn’t represent the real Atlanta because if they did Bravo would not have received the type of ratings they have to date. If a real socialite would not air her dirty laundry on tv then why would we want her on the show? We wouldn’t because the show would be boring. Everyone likes excitement and drama in someone else’s life. If you are not one of those people then stop watching the show. This show was not meant to be a show for these women to be role models for your home or Atlanta, this show was meant to be just what it is pure entertainment and drama. I must admit these blogs are hilarious to the point I can’t stop laughing. Please people stop being so harsh with one another as far as spelling and peoples grammar. Even the smartest person can mess up a time or two and if you are well educated then lend a hand and stop bashing people. If you’re a hair stylist offer your assistance to do their hair, a speech therapist offer your assitance to help them speak correct english, a fitness coach inspire them to lose weight the list can go on an on. Wow - the episode that came on tonight (11/11/08) is a trip. It was really good though. I felt sorry for Sheree and her “no fashions” fashion show. DeShawn (Shani) too because no one showed up to her “can’t we all just be friends” party. She tried. I think the girls still had fun so why bother worrying about why Kim and Sheree didn’t show up. Kim is a hot mess in this episode. I was cool with Kim, but she had the audacity to say some fighting words in reference to NeNe like she will kick NeNe’s azz or something like that. Kim… PUH-leeze! NeNe will beat the schitt out of you. Girl… just keep Big Poppa happy and stop singing ok? I hate drama… but I’ve been drinking water in a wine glass so I’m feeling good. Well first, Kim and Sheree need to be b—— slapped and fast. Kim for the “low budget bitch” text - What the Hell - Oh NO!!!, and Sheree for instigating! Whoever told (Lisa?) needs to be confronted for breaking the rule, whatever is said in the limo stays in the limo - especially if no one addressed it while in the limo - that was the time to speak up. NeNe, please tone it down a notch! As for Sheree, she needs to stop agreeing with Kim about there beauty, style , status etc, it’s making her look vane, and Kim insecure. These sisters have let Kim get away with to much out her mouth; Kim is not a black woman ( she wishes she was) she needs to be put in her place. With the realization that Sheree, is trying to compensate for what is not there; Beauty is underneath the surface not on the top, hello Sheree, you need a reality check in the mirror for inner beauty. Second, big papa, needs to be shame of himself for letting this woman exploit him financially. If you would like a tax break/or just do something for a good cause this single mother who stays at home (not by choice) needs a SUV to transport her severely disabled child each week for treatments (maybe you could donate one of Kim’s SUV’s - Big Papa, it would be a need (fulfillment) not a want cause it’s just there for the taking!) Thirdly, the “Joy of Women’s Fellowships” are to be cherished with your heart strings attached. The tongue is the worst enemy in any relationship… so ladies think about what your purposes are in life and how you can make a change to better compliment each other through your gifts and talents, motherhood, being a wife, entrepreneurship experiences, life’s lessons learned/shared, strengths and weaknesses within yourself. You all are in the spotlight now and what you do, say and portray will affect the lives of some women (wealthy or poverty stricken)! I like the show very much. It is entertaining and really let you inside women and how they think. NENE, DESHAWN and LISA are on the same page but, KIM and SHERREE they are to the left. I thought it was terrible they did not call to cancel their evite(no class at all. DESHAWN did not do anything to anybody so why so much drama. The truth always hurt. The show is a joke, please tell me these women have something else to do but be idiots. I found real quickly I had something better to do than watch a woman who can not sing try to sing. A woman who claim she is a real estate wonder in this economy profess to be do great. and a old 38 year old woman screaming about all she want is 7 figures from her ex husband.
