Well, to be honest DeShawn was my favorite one. She and I have a lot in common, we both apparently tend to remain calm no matter how foolish people around us are conducting themselves. I use to be a fan of Lisa until she surprisingly acted like a nut on the reunion episode. We are the reality show for the people who act as if they have a littel bit of sense?

I commend DeShawn on staying classy, don’t get me wrong I likes all the ladies for who they were and are each one brought something different to the show, but she was classy always, very laid back and just being who she is as a person, doesn’t mean she doesn’t get angry . T.V. is t.v. and it likes drama and you are not a drama queen from what I could see on the show. The show won’t be the same because they are taking away the calm element that the show needs.

DeShawn is cool but I do understand that ratings are key to staying on television. I am not surprise that NeNe will be getting her own show. She is drama , fashionable , real and will do some stuff that scares the hell out of some of these housewives. I notice that they add new housewives each season anyway. I do want to see more diversity. It would also be good if Bravo would chose a housewife that is rich because of old money. Not new money from entertainment or sports. There are black families in Atlanta that fit that bill.

I think its sad…..I mean the other ladies bring drama and its good to get the laughs in when you need them; but Deshawn is classy and think she brings balance to the field. Yeah, I liked everyone on the show. that’s what makes it reality. Everyone has their own persona. Just like a group of friends off the screen. To boot Deshawn really gives the women and men watching the impression that you ain’t hot or interesting if you don’t bring alot of negativity with you. And thats not real.

Honestly, it’s a shame that in 2009, that the Black women who are on these “NOT REALITY” shows still have to act like fools, sell themselves cheap and cut each other down, just to appeal to those who support these kind of stupid shows.

Thank goodness there are still progressive, intelligent, positive black women still around. Where are the “REAL REALITY” shows about them?

Great, there bringing back Kizzee and the other house Negros. Just what this City needs, more bad press. Shanaynay (ex footballers baby momma) is loosing her house to foreclosure and is to Stupid to find a job to support her self. LOL. The court dismissed there case in the divorce. Bravo should change the name of the show to Jerry Springer-Flavor Flav Comedy Hour. Eric Snow’s wife was the only true “housewife” if the definition of the word is a woman who takes care of the house while her husband works. Only Lisa has any real money (maybe, I see Keith Sweat is still touring), the rest are just loud wannabees. Is Tameka Foster Usher’s wife? The one who with three kids divorce her husband to marry Usher who Usher don’t want anymore? Man, why not bring back Step and Fetchit?

DeShaun Snow was too classy for this show. Thank you Bravo for perpetuating the stereotype that Atlanta is nothing more than a city of ebonics-speaking, money-hungry, weave-wearing, ghetto-fabulous people who over-extend themselves, and like NeNe, lose their homes because they overspend to attempt to impress people, and can’t afford to pay their mortgages. Since NeNe no longer has a home, where will they televise her show from?

I have had the pleasure of working several events at the Snow’s home and I was rather surprised when she showed up in the cast. I am glad she will no longer be associated with this trashy show-she is much better than the other ladies.

Again, the best Atlanta Housewives show would be to follow Merry Carlos and her band of botox-babes…THAT would be one to watch!

Well, I am glad that she stuck out like a sore thumb, good for her. I tire of seeing the images of black men and women on television as loud, materialistic, and ghetto. I watched it once and never again and I think it is in poor taste that our community gives ratings to these type of shows, really no matter what the nationality. America just seems to gravitate more and more to immoral base living. Having money does not equate to having class, sophistication and, intelligience. And we have the nerve to wonder why our children and communities are so screwed up.

I think Deshawnn kept the balance. Deshawnn, to me showed that not all black women are dramma queens. She stayed loyal to her faith and her true self. I can respect that. I really think it’s the shows lost not to have her on because who really wants to see Shree,with no class and nothing else, acting like she has all the money in the world. She was too materialist. Lisa was a true fake. I didnt like the fact she flipped flopped on Nene. She laughed when Shree called her a transvestite. Now she’s Nene friend. Whatever. Kim is not worth dicussing. Nene, I liked because she kept it real.

DeShawn was a nice girl who actually has a hubby who is secure financially. Afterall he is the BASKETBALL player - I mean ex but still his money is guaranteed. But, I come from a TV background and the last thing you want is NO ratings and someone who is as interesting as watching paint dry. I still think there is a happy medium. There is a way for ladies not to act the fool but still be entertaining. DeShawn was just boring and she spoke THROUGH HER TEETH. It drove me crazy to watch her week after week and watch her slur her words through her teeth. The word jewelry is pronounced Jew-wel-ry NOT “jew-ry”. That drove me nuts but DeShawn did manage to expose Bishop Eddie Long’s “ME FIRST” attitude. That was hyprocisy at the big level. That was the most exciting episodes for me: the auction. DeShawn doesn’t need the money and she has a hubby who seems to love her dearly. Usher’s wife? She LOOKS like she’d fit the current bill.

Since this mess has aired, we’ve learned that one has been evicted, another only makes a little more than $100,000 a year (far from being wealthy), and another one has been dumped by her sugar daddy. Mrs. Snow was the only one who seemed “real” on the show. And because she does not play into the high-school girl mess, the producers dropped her.

I only saw the reunion show & the commericals with NeNe and it was horrible. DeShaw Snow as a woman of God had no business being on the show in the first place. Sheep beget sheep & to compromise yourself for fame in the midst of what is nothing but sinful nonsense says a lot about what is really important to you. All it is is a bunch of gossipping women keeping up nonsense and making real women in Atlanta look bad.

What kind of people believe this stuff is real? People comment like it’s reality & it’s soooo far from it. The one with the bad wig is of course on purpose to give them something to talk about, the loud one is making sure her “career” continues and moved on purpose to give material for next season, Lisa Wu Hartwell has nothing better to do & they make her character to be the one in the middle keeping the nonsense going, the one who wants to be a designer keeps her nose in the air because she can play that part and the one who just got let go..Good! How can you mix church with that trash? They didn’t HIRE her to bring the Lord to TV, so she was only there to amp up the drama. The problem is far too many people think it’s real and make ALL women look bad. They need to cancel it. Of course people watch, but if you’re over 16 God help you if you have nothing better to do with your life than watch trash. I’m glad Lisa’s ex Keith Sweat had enough sense to not allow her to exploit their innocent children with this mess!

I’m curious how Bravo can justify bringing this show back given it’s well established that: 1) None of these people live in Atlanta. 2) Most have been identified as liars. 3) Several don’t have a pot to pee in. 4) Two aren’t housewives.

This show was funny in season one. Now it’s just a sad insult to the people of our region.

Good move, Bravo. DeShawn should go. She’s boring - or at least she came across that way on TV. This is a reality show about train wrecks. The worst thing about her is that she’s always sitting and, therefore, looks like she’s lazy. She couldn’t even have a good breakdown when her “charity auction” went bad. She just went to lie down in bed and cry. My friends and I were going to have a drinking contest - drink each time there was a shot of DeShawn in a seated or reclined position.

I say boot them all; they all are money hungry, boring, lazy, gold diggers. They give “REAL” women a bad name. Not everyone is married to a baller; or was married to a singer now a ball player, or rather and ex-ball player and so on. Yes it is entertainment to a degree, but funny how Shree Whitfield’s lawyers claimed lack of education as part of the problem for supporting herself; how crazy! Yet, on the show she swears by the $$$ expenscie clothes, bags, etc. Sounds like she has million dollar taste and a $100 pocketbook……. Who really cares; your clothes, your cars, your shoes, etc, do not make you. And anyone who judges someone on that criteria deserves the backlash they get. These women clearly do not have a a clue about the real world; the fantasy world they live in has them all jacked up.

Mrs. Snow, this is the best thing for you. People want to see people, especially people of color, cutting a nut (a.k.a being ghetto.) She didn’t lower her character by acting that way. If the producers of the show dismissed her for that, then the “”” with them. We see enough people acting like overgrown kids on that stupid box anyway. DeShawn was too good for the show. I thought Lisa was cool to until the fool popped out of her on the reunion show. NeNe should be ashamed and should get a job, she never did much but spent money she did not have. She so jealous of Sheree it’s not funny. The cast could be talking about how blue the sky is and she would find a way to make that about Sheree. Why I do not know Sheree thinks of herslf as being too dumb to take care of herself and her kids. “Real Housewives” is a reality show, right? Well the reality is that one of the housewives has been evicted from her rented home and the other four have lost the source of their large incomes. For season two let us see how they handle these changes. Let’s see Sheree get a normal 2000 sq ft house in the burbs and live on her $113k a year. Let’s see NeNe take her boy to get his next suit at Men’s Wearhouse. Let’s see Kim cash in her Escalade and Range Rover at CarMax for a Hyundai. Let’s see how the real estate downfall has affected Lisa’s real estate business. And if DeShawn were going to be around, I’d love to have seen her do her own cooking and cleaning in that mansion since her husband’s post-career income is going to be far less than the basketball money and won’t pay for that staff. Face it, those of us who are “in” to the show are not wowed by the mansions, fashions, and trattorias. No one (other than the five ladies) believe that they are the “elite” of Atlanta. Those of us who’ve read the media and the blogs know now that most of these ladies were putting on a show well beyond their means and we are not really interested in seeing a second season of fake bling. We are there for the train wrecks (i.e. DeShawn’s fund raiser, Sheree’s fashion viewing, and Kim’s singing) as well as the catfights and backstabbing. We’d much rather see Sheree’s American Express card being declined at Intermix and NeNe broadcasting it all over Atlanta via Dwight. We want to see Kim and Lisa in an Alexis/Krystle Carrington style yank-the-wig-off wrestling match. And in an interview Kim mentioned that in the second season that she’d be dating “lots of wealthy men.” Well, I’d look for a rerun of “Pretty Woman” or “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” if I wanted to watch something about a hooker. Julia Roberts and Audrey Hepburn are both much more attractive, more likeable, and more believable as something a man would spend his hard earned money on!

“BIRMINGHAM FAN”, I COMPLETELY AGREE WITH YOU! I MOVED TO BIRMINGHAM FROM ATLANTA, AND I THINK THE SHOW IS JUST A JOKE! I was a successful Realtor there, as I am here and times have been tough for anyone in that industry…however, fortunately I have always been frugal and conservative with my spending habits and while I am not from Atlanta, I am more than sure that there are some real housewives somewhere there and even here…..plus “Real” Millionaires don’t WASTE money! I would love to see some real housewives, keeping it real!

She was a perfect example of what a lovely wife with some Class should be about…family & business. She was the head of the team in her own way. I loved her strive as a genuine woman with her quest to be of a better statue in making a difference in her community with her foundation. It clearly displays her level of mindset and maturity. Get over it! You are just jealous that the show is showing black women who know the game. You hate it when women of color show you up! It has nothing to do with being embarrassed…you are are just jealous. The Real Housewives of Atlanta is no more ghetto than the Orange Co and NY shows. Yet when black women do something that’s not to “lady-like”, then she’s ghetto…its the “N” word. (player-haters)

On the RHWOOC, you see wives sleeping with the other wives sons, ex’ husbands sleeping in the basement, underage kids drinking, women dressing like w** showing their cleavage… the whole nine yard.

On the RHWONY- the women are having catfight (Bethanny), lots of jealousy, women pretending to rich but are not and the list goes on.

However, you call these women, who all happen to be white, wild and crazy; yet if one of the wives on the Atlanta show did what Gretchen did then she would be straight up ghetto.

The only thing I have to say to you jealous women… F U and I dare you to say it to our face. And to all the Caucasian men that are watching this “girly” show and calling the women w** and B’s, wouldn’t it would be nice if they came out with a Reality show that featured men “Coming Out Of the Closet”. I’m not surprise. Most of these shows like to show black women full of drama. It just continues the sterotype of black women being loud, ghetto and materialist. For the ones that say the white housewives show is worst. Majority of white woman image on tv is positive. Can we say that about black woman? NO. Only shows I can think of is Run’s House and House of Payne. If we had more positive images then a few stupid ones wouldn’t hurt. Then when we get someone that is classy, humble and real she gets the boot, and people have the nerve to call her boring because she doesn’t get into drama. That is just stupid.

I’m sad to see DeShawn go. She was my favorite and presented herself as a classy woman, wonderful wife and mother, sincere girlfriend, and wanted to have a positive impact on people and the community. For me to see someone living a full life financially and not be arrogant, snobbish, or full of drama was rewarding. I pray many blessings on DeShawn, her family, and her future. I will probably not support the show now they let the best good. No full of drama and just a nice person. TV has enough negativity and that appears to be where this is heading, more drama more disgrace. Hang in there DeShawn your steps are ordered.

I need to call Bravo so I can give them information on how they to find some real housewives in Atlanta. Educated, professional women - lawyers, doctors and ceo’s who run their own businesses and still know how to cook a meal, clean a house and raise their kids. I watched this show and could not believe that these so called men with money actually marry women like this. It’s a shame that Deshawn was booted. She had the most money and the most class. I liked Lisa until she flipped on Kim because everyone knows it was Lisa who called Kim and told her that NeNe was singing about her. Sheree is a wanna be rich chick who got pie in her face - maybe she should take some of that money she got from Bob and go get an education.

DeShawn should consider herself to be blessed. This show is not at all an accurate picture of the best of Atlanta. These women and their friends are making complete fools of themselves. It’s very sad that DeShawn is being let go, the main one to let go should be NENE come on people I have more class in my little toe than she has in her hold body and always dresses cheap. You need one “normal” person on a show like that. 5-6 hyenas on that show is way too much. DeShawn was almost like an oasis from the drama-filled lives of Sheree, Kim & Nene.

Lisa was classy on most of the episodes, but she snapped when she heard what Kim said about her at a Hollywood movie set.

DeShawn needs to stay on the show. However, her life might be better away from the TRHOA nuthouse.

I thought DeShawn Snow added some class to the show. If you don’t have at least one sistah with some class and her head on straight, then the show will just be about a group of black women with no class, no money of their own, no education, and no love for each other. DeShawn showed love for her sistah-friends. Unfortunately, Lisa bowed to the pressure of the stereotype. She was O.K. with me until the reunion show when she lashed out at Kim, but she wouldn’t have done that little scene with any of the other sistahs on the show. Get Real!! YOU KNOW THE PRODUCERS ARE LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH. LaShawn is not slim enough, light-skinned enough, pretty enough, or have hair straight enough to be on next season. And neither was NeNe. NeNe’s husband didn’t have enough money to keep her on the show. I heard their house was in foreclosure. NO HOUSE; NO SHOW. The producers want “light, bright, damn near White, with just like Jesus hair!!” You know the script…DRAMA, DIRTY LAUNDRY… MORE DRAMA…ESPECIALLY BLACK FOLKS’ DRAMA…IT SELLS!!! Sheree would be next to go if she wasn’t the star “B” of the show. Her ex-husband is broke, but if she plays her role right,she will be able to afford to keep the house. NO SURPRISES THERE. The producers will continue to shop for new housewives of NFL, NBA, or Entertainment celebrities in Atlanta. The women will have to have pretty faces, tight bodies, and diva personalities, and LOVE to spend their husbands money and talk about it. LaShawn and her husband had plenty going for them before the show; LaShawn will be fine. NeNe is a survivor. I believe she could make SUGAH OUTTA S_!! DeShawn was the main one with the bling…I guess they will pay the other ones to be rich to keep up their ratings. Plus she showed true loyalty to NeNe. I liked her, and they didn’t need any more extra drama, they had enough with the others. It’s not like people wouldn’t have stopped watching that show because of De Shawn staying. She was very comforting to watch. And most of all she was real. No fake diamonds, she was a true representative of reality. She get’s her meals on, goes to church, obviously she’s charming because she has managed to attract her celebrity status husband, friends, pastor etc. It’s not like she will lose anything by not being on this show.

Bring DeShawn back. This is a very poor decision on Bravo part. I admire this DeShawn and the other lady the fashion designer, even though her designs was not that great. Bravo, please bring her back. Bump the drama. We have had enough of that during the election, and in every day life. She was a pleasure to watch. These other women make you want to not watch the show. BRING HER BACK! BRING HER BACK! BRING HER BACK!

I dont think it was smart to boot DeShawn because I was just as interested in her and her views as I was in NeNe and her views. You’re thinking people didnt get something out of DeShawn, you are very wrong. We need to see that a woman of God is living the life that God wants her to live. Sin doesnt always keep the audience. She was refreshing. Take a moment and think about that.

So sorry to hear that Deshawn will not be on the show. I always thought she carried herself like a true lady with class. So if the show got rid of you for that reason Deshawn, take that as a compliment. You will continue to be blessed, Bravo is taking a loss because they let you go. Best Wishes to you and your family.

“I am not from the Atlanta area, but Deshawn was like the most classy lady on the show. I am not saying the rest aren’t. I am saying that DeShwan brought calmness to the show. I think a show like that needs some balance. Why wouldn’t you have a show that is all drama, and no balance of peace on the show? That’s not really “real”, if you ask me? DeShawn many blesses to you and I hope other opportunities come your way.”

Classy she is not. Her deficient English skills lead me to wonder what Detroit high school, further Michigan State University, saw fit to promote/graduate her(born and raised in Detroit). Deshawn’s obvious lack of substance and ditzy persona make “theological school” seem a stretch. Her reality testing is very poor.

Hello everyone. I’m just getting caught up with the show and would like to comment that I will miss DaShawn. She definitely brought class to the show in her own subtle way. Don’t know why the producer(s) thought if DaShawn wasn’t acting out of her element, she wasn’t a good fit. As black women, we all need to embrace our self-worth and do not allow others tell us that if we are not displaying some sort of bi-polar image, we don’t fit or measure up to their standards. Honestly, I don’t see this type of reality going on with the other and, if I might add, all white cast members of New York Housewives, or Housewives of Orange County. They aren’t expected nor required to act as uneducated, gold-digging, pole-dancers. Those shows are being taped and edited properly for an elite and wider viewing audience. Why can’t Housewive of Atlanta be produced with the same integrity and thought process. It disappoint me to think every black reality show needs to be based on a “Flava of Love” or “New York” image…pure nonsense!
