Legend shows he’s stylish, ambitious and limber

Some thoughts on John Legend after seeing his Friday night Vibe performance: Don’t think of him as a male Alicia Keys; think of him as a younger, hipper Harry Connick, Jr. He’s a good pianist, a strong singer and a magnetic performer.
And he knows how to wear a suit. Legend seems equally comfortable playing his instrument and prancing around the stage singing.
Like Connick, he seems willing and able to change musical styles. Don’t be surprised to see ambitious stuff from him in the future that sounds nothing like his breakthrough record, “Get Lifted.”

All of those who are sleeping on JOHN LEGEND< WAKE UP and GET LIFTED. This brother is so hot. He is something that this generation needs more of… MUSIC, vocals, songs, performance. His performance was awesome. He is very talented and an his show was fabulous.

John Legend was impressive. He worked the crowd and he worked the stage. I wish I had caught his earlier performance at the Fox so I could have had something to compare this performance too.

John is definitly on his way to becoming a true Legend!! If anyone does not have his album you really should go pick up two copies (one for the you for a friend…lol)

I agree.. for all of those that were not fans of John’s should now be!!!! His performance was off the chain!!! He really worked the stage with his very soulful voice. He did all the hits off the cd. This performance was better than his earlier performance at the fox with Alicia Keys, because he had more time!!! I can’t wait to see him for the 3rd time)this summer with Lyfe!!! That’s gonna be a great tour.

John has always been a Legend, all the way back when he used to give recitals @ church as a little boy! I’m so proud of him. He’s my homeboy and if you don’t have his CD’s your’re slipping!

Legend will be a legend sooner than I thought, good thing he cleared up the crap about his album being just about cheating too. John has talent!! Lets see what the follow up will be. I am waiting with high expectations. Hey don’t people get paid to do what I am doing? I am in the wrong business, hire me AJC

John Legend’s performace was awsome. His voice was strong and the piano playing wonderful. Mr. Legend was sexy, sexy, sexy, sexy. Oh, did I say sexy. I hope all other artists took note on how flawless Vibe appearance should look.
