Faith Evans
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
“If you’re just getting here, BET co-host Free said almost two hours after the start time on the Vibe MusicFest ticket, “you’re late.
Never mind how untimely the first annual event at the Georgia Dome was itself on Saturday night.
Former Atlanta R&B singer Faith Evans started her unfortunately brief (20-minute) set “Burnin’ Up, as the song title goes.
With just two dancers and a DJ, she whirled through six songs and a nod to her late rapper husband, Notorious B.I.G., with a power matched only by the echo of performing in a half Dome less than half full.
