T.I.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution
With no explanation for his absence the previous night, the scheduled host for the Friday evening launch of this festival, entertainment mogul Sean P. Diddy Combs, appeared Saturday after Faith Evans.
He introduced B5, his new Atlanta R&B boy group who did show up Friday. And they received the same response Saturday from the mostly adult crowd — lukewarm.
Luckily they were only on for three songs, quickly making room for bonafide Atlanta rap star T.I.
But like Evans before him, the witty streetwise lyricist hurried through about a 30-minute set that included too few hits (such as “Rubberband Man,” “ASAP” and “24’s”) and too many extemporaneous guests — such as his PSC family, who have yet to release an album, much less their own successful singles.

T.I. is a solo act. During his performance, why do he need 400 mics? He was the highlight of the show Saturday night, but why did he perform before some other acts who clearly did not follow him.

The Rubberban Man himself,Mr.T.I. put on the best performance of the night. He did a couple of new hits and took us back with one his classics P-Poopa #1. He got the standing “O” from me!
