I am an avid TV watcher..so nobody sees me after I workout and shower Mon.-Thurs. That is my “Me” time. So Any dates are to be scheduled Friday after 9 or 10 and Saturdays. I was seeing someone earlier this year and because we liked each other…we would take turns during the week going over to one another’s cribs and watching the shows together. But that was because I really liked him. So I guess it depends on the feelings.

Good morning Everyone. Forgive me but I must be in a funk this morning, whatever happened to meeting someone and going from there? Why do some of us make dating so hard. There are so many rules that should be booted out the window like a stale doughnut Slimeone brought in LOL. I have heard about so many “how to” “rules to follow” “he/she’s not into you if..” books that I just wanna scream. It’s like I’ve lost myself somewhere between 285 S and 285 W. No two relationships will be the same. If guy wants to date me on Tuesday night that doesn’t necessarily mean that he’s not really into me, Tuesdays may be the only day for him where his head is not clouded with whatever he has going on. Weekend dating is too ordinary. Weekday dating works better for me no complaints here.

Monday - Sports(seasonal) or drinks with the boys/stripclub or all three

Tuesday - Chill/workout/TV

Wednesday - read tuesday..with the rule that if you can call over a lil cut you do that

Thursday - Sports Bar try to pick up some strange…or…see tuesday

Friday - call up someone from the bench..now depending on her status you go from there..if she is a jumpoff- then you know dizzle to jaw program..you like something about her..sports bar or drinks then the D to J program….lol

Saturday - Main squeeze night or current interest

Sunday - Sports(Seasonal)…lol…

Every waking minute belongs to YOU, and YOU choose what to do with that time, whether its go to work, extracurricular activities, or whatever, you make the most of it….I’ve never seen the memo that said the weekends are reserved for dating…..

I think Saturday in Atlanta is a date night. I think guys reserve Friday’s for their friends. If you can make it to Saturday status, you are definitely the starter. Sometimes people can get caught up in the ditch my friends for my new mate mode but I think the key is to have balance. Its great when you meet a SO and they already have a vibrant life. That’s good because everyone can get their space and not be overburdened. I can let you ladies in on a tip though; a lot of guys like to squeeze in women like for activities rather than a date. For example, if there is like a fest or something going on, some guys will squeeze you in earlier, maybe just so they can do their own thing later with someone else. Just a thought…

Morning, everyone. :-)

My week is pretty regimented, so it would take a really special someone to get me to break that routine. I’m not dating anyone right now, but if I were, I’m most comfortable with doing things toward the latter part of the week, because that’s the time of the week when the workload on my job is somewhat lighter. Not always, but often times.

I’m a “morning person” by nature, so I don’t normally stay up late during the week. As such, I prefer going out on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening. Sundays are cool, too, during the NFL season (GO FALCONS!), though I would hesistate to use my other season ticket on a woman who’s more concerned with how she looks than enjoying our time together. I take on a whole different personality during the NFL season and she would have to be comfortable with that and not be all self-conscious about it.

Don’t really concern myslef with the day of the week or what ever..I guess I don’t live my life with so many restrictions being single and all…that doesn’t mean I don’t have values etc. In my world if we talk no matter what day of the week and we happen to make plans then thats what it is…gee wiz..

I am not trying to be funny, just giving you a peek behind the current…thats all…and that use to be my routine a couple of years ago and it worked for me…i had fun…notice i did not date…i would include the female in whatever event/activity i attended…i did movies and dinner dates..but only with the ones that have been down for a minute..feel me..but it is no secret everyone has a life..no one is waiting around to hear from or spend time with a new love interest everyday.

Bella being an only child I have always loved to be alone. I do not get to have that on the weekends because I am busy. So those few hours after my workout I have declared that to be that tine for me. I can’t stand to when someone talks when you are trying to watch the shows. I have kicked someone out for that! LOL As a child I would go hide in the closet from my friends to get away from people. I loved being by myself. That obviously has never changed. If I were to marry, I’d want my own room! Heck…do we even have to live together? LOL

*Sexyleggs nah…they had no clue I was hiding in my mom’s closet. I knew they would never go in there. Yes..i was a very smart kid. My mom actually kept her closet clean an opened in the floor area because she knew I would go hide in there. I also would go hide in the bath tub with the curtain closed. Until someone came in one day and blew it up without knowing I was there and I had to hold my nose and be quiet so they would not know….I learned to keep to the closet only after that! LOL

2C I couldn’t agree more. All these “rules” are tiresome and not everybody has a different person for every day of the week.

Morena It’s funny that even the word date requires such thoughts of commitment from men that the word “activities” is used instead! LOL!! I think that what “activities” refers to (when concerned with the opposite sex) are things you were going to do anyway, but decided to ask someone to tag along. A “date” would be where there is no activity unless you go with that person, where being with that person was the whole reason for the activity. Rell Is that correct?

Wifey and I still sleep in the master suite, but if I feel like being alone, I go to my room, and she respects that. We recently bought a home in Miami. From my experience trying the online thing (and my friends), we all say: Meet the person AS SOON AS HUMANLY POSSIBLE! Everyone online wants to espouse how great they are and how hot they are (sounds like AmazonRed don’t it? ;p ), but when it comes down to it, it is the spark that you feel when you are in the same physical location. If that’s not there, you could have every single friggin thing in common and it will not matter.

And, to stay on topic, date them ONLY ON TUESDAYS :^)

Dushawn I think the reason divorce is so high is because people get married an no longer has the pace to breathe. It’s like you have to see this person everyday and do dang near everything with them. That can get boring. I think you should still be able to take trips with the girls/guys. Give each other time to miss the other.

As for on topic, this was a big point of contention for the recent ex. We spent 4-5 days out the week together, but never on Saturday nights. He was always super accessible on Saturdays until one day he wasn’t. Turns out he’d taken some other chick out. That was just another nail in the coffin.

I’m guilty of shuffling my time to accomodate the person I’m seeing, which is another change I’ve made to the Amazon 2.0. I learned a lot from this past relationship and most lessons were for the better!

actually, beautiful…the way i read the post…was that she has been meeting a lot of people online, dating for a short period of time and hooking up with those guys and after the sex, it’s been fizzling out…

Melo The significance is obvious. Just do the visual. I’m 220 and have spent a lot of time bench pressing and on the butterfly machine.
