Days’ wisely bringing Stefano back

So The Phoenix is rising again on Days of Our Lives.

Well, it’s about time.

As most Days fans know, Stefano DiMera (aka The Phoenix) disappeared from the Salem canvas several months ago after his portrayer, the delightfully devilish Joseph Mascolo, was stupidly let go.

Yeah, that’s right. I called the Days’ head honchos stupid. ‘Cause they were.

But someone, somewhere, wised up and realized the show has no better villain than Stefano … and hired Joseph back.

Finally.

Sometimes I really do wonder what the people running soaps are thinking.

Don’t you?

I know I can’t be the only one shaking her head at some of the decisions being made.

Anyhow, Stefano’s return is guaranteed to add some spark. He always does.

They don’t call him The Phoenix for nothing.
