Richard Branson, Jason Mraz, More Honored for Environmental Efforts
The Environmental Media Association is announcing its honorees for 2009.
Mogul Sir Richard Branson, singer Jason Mraz, the National Geographic Society and director Roland Emmerich's Centropolis Entertainment, are this year's honorees.
"Although environmental consciousness weighs prevalently in our society, this year's honorees have gone above and beyond to protect the planet and make sustainability a priority," EMA President Debbie Levin said in a statement. "We hold the actions of Sir Richard, the National Geographic Society, Jason and Centropolis Entertainment in the highest regard."
