Teen celeb Miley Cyrus' biggest fan is no star-struck tween, no elementary school-aged supporter.

Chris Pizzello, AP Actress/singer Miley Cyrus has an alleged stalker from Appling, according to Tybee Island police.

Rather, he's a 53-year-old alleged stalker, and he's from Georgia.

Mark Owen McLeod, of Appling, was arrested June 22 on disorderly conduct charges at a Miley event after Tybee Island police say he told authorities he and the teen star were "great friends" and that Miley had invited him to "come see her" that day.

He later told police he and the 16-year-old star were engaged and that her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, had said "you're the good man we've been praying for," according to the incident report posted by the Savannah Morning News.

The incident began when police received complaints that McLeod made several inappropriate comments to young females, to which McLeod later said "nobody could stop him from talking about Miley," according to the incident report.

McLeod also told police he had mailed Miley gifts including two $2,000 diamond rings and some "special private presents." He also said he was very close with all of Miley's family, except her mother, Trish, who is "linked to security," the report states.

The Savannah Morning News reports that McLeod is no stranger to police. His obsession with Miley is infamously captured in a video shot by the New York Daily News in March when he attended her book signing and claimed he would marry her.

"He was already a known stalker," Tybee Police Lt. Bob Bryson told the Savannah paper. "There was some intelligence given to us. Disney security was pretty open that there were people that were more of an interest to them because of their interest in her."

Los Angeles Police later contacted Tybee cops after the arrest; McLeod violated a court order in Los Angeles County when he appeared at a Miley film shoot, according to the Savannah paper.

McLeod is reportedly scheduled to appear at a Sept. 1 court date in Chatham County.
