TOAST TO EDUCATION

Looking to network, help a cause and have fun while doing it? The Cocktails and Dollars to Support Young Scholars event at Loca Luna fits the bill. Each guest gets one free drink ticket. If you're still thirsty, the Midtown restaurant and bar has plenty of exotic cocktails, including varieties of mojitos and caipirinhas. Tapas plates and live Latin tunes are included in the ticket price. This fund-raising event for Junior Achievement of Georgia helps fund the organization's educational programs. Adults can bid on a job shadow auction, which would allow them to spend some face time with Atlanta-based movers and shakers.

• THE 411: $37.50 advance; $40 at the door. 6:30 p.m. May 13. Loca Luna, 550-C Amsterdam Ave., Atlanta. 404-257-1932, www.georgia.ja.org.

CASH FOR KARAOKE

Sing for your supper, literally. Barley's presents Karaoke Kash Wednesday nights with host Bobby French. Everyone who sings gets a raffle ticket to win $25. Drawings are at 8 p.m., 10 p.m. and midnight. The more times you sing, the better odds you have at grabbing cash. Barley's offers food and drink specials on Wednesday nights, too. If you can't sing, try your luck on one of more than 20 pool tables.

• THE 411: Free. 5 p.m. Wednesdays. Barley's, 338 Peachtree St., Atlanta. 404-522-7177, www.barleysatl.com.

WHITE ELEPHANT BINGO

The folks at the Catch Seafood Restaurant and its Blue Olive Lounge have a winning formula for keeping customers in their seats on Tuesday nights. Guests play White Elephant Bingo, which is played the traditional way. The catch is, when a player wins a round, he or she chooses from a batch of prizes, but the winner of the subsequent game can "steal" the prize from the previous winner or pick something else. This goes on for a total of 12 rounds and typically ends around 10 p.m. Past prizes include DVDs, margarita sets, board games, CDs and more.

• THE 411: Free. 7:30 p.m. The Catch Seafood Restaurant, 4665 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta. 770-321-2717, www.catchseafoodrestaurant.com.
