Nadya Suleman, the mother of octuplets, leaves her home in Whittier, Calif. Suleman says she used money from an inheritance and overtime wages from her job as a psychiatric technician to pay for her early fertilization procedures.

The show is scheduled to open June 19 and run Fridays and Saturdays for 10 weeks.

The theater’s Web site says the show will be not just about Nadya Suleman, the California woman whose delivery of octuplets sparked international wonder and talk-show jokes, but also about “the numerous public figures we’ve grown to love and hate and love to hate over these last six to nine months.”

Media fascination over the rare birth of eight babies in January 2009 gave way to death threats and vandalism directed at Suleman after reporters uncovered the fact that she already had six children she could hardly support and was divorced and living in a small house in California with her mother.

According to Bang’s Web site, noted actors who have performed at the improv theater include Fred Willard, Sarah Silverman, Margaret Cho and Rainn Wilson, now a regular on ‘The Office.’
