There are a couple of big (and not-so-big) reality show finales this week and oh, some event called the Summer Olympics.
Monday
• "Teen Choice 2008" 8 p.m. Fox — Miley Cyrus hosts. Who? Fox really went for obscure this time around!
• "I Want to Work For Diddy" 9 p.m. VH1 (new series) — Speaking of underexposed, some anonymous dude named Diddy has 13 folks compete to be his assistant.
• "New York Goes to Hollywood" 10 p.m. VH1 (new series) — New York, the queen of VH1, wants to be a real actress. Her avenue: a reality show about trying to be a real actress.
• "Nashville Star" 10 p.m. NBC (season finale) — Our pick to win: Melissa Lawson, who may or may not be a country star but has great vocals. Gabe Garcia lacks personality. Shawn Mayer is pretty but vapid.
Tuesday
• "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" 8 p.m. ABC Family — With ratings breaking network records, executive producer Brenda Hampton ("7th Heaven") proves she still has the touch. Amy finally reveals her pregnancy to her mom (Molly Ringwald.)
• "Food Detectives" 9 p.m. Food (new series) — Ted Allen channels his inner Alton Brown, conducting food-related experiments.
• "Flipping Out" 10 p.m. Bravo (season finale) — Stressed out Jeff, now down a house assistant, has finally sold the big house and needs a place to live. This is followed by the season premiere of "Million Dollar Listing."
Wednesday
• "Tyler Perry's House of Payne" 9 p.m. TBS — Go Tyler! Four new eps in a row, culminating in episode No. 100!
• "Black Gold" 10 p.m. Tru TV (season finale) — This show didn't do "Ice Road Truckers" numbers, but Tru TV will probably renew it anyway.
Thursday
• "Last Comic Standing" 8 p.m. NBC (season finale) — With the Olympics coming, this show seems to have been rushed to its very end and sadly, it's had its worst ratings ever. Former Atlantan Louis Ramey is in the final five, but Marcus will probably win.
• "So You Think You Can Dance" 8 p.m. Fox (season finale) — Twitch may have the least dance experience of the final four, but he is truly a fan fav who could take home the crown.
• "My Boys" 10 p.m. TBS (season finale) — Will Bobby and Elsa actually get hitched? Where's the best man? And will we have a cliffhanger for next season?
Friday
• "Summer Olympics" 8 p.m. NBC — Opening ceremonies in China. Expect fireworks and lots of red!
• "Gone Country Reunion" 10 p.m. CMT — We find out what's up with former Snellville singer Diana DeGarmo as well as the likes of Bobby Brown, Maureen McCormick and Carnie Wilson. No sign of winner Enrique Iglesias Jr. on the country charts yet!
Weekend
• "Suite Life of Zack & Cody" 8:30 p.m. Saturday Disney— Chris Brown and the Cheetah Girls guest.
• "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet" 9 p.m. Saturday Lifetime — Imagine Lindsay Lohan getting sent to live with her aunt in Indiana and somehow manages to go incognito. That's the premise of this flick. Former teen cutie Valerie Bertinelli and Morgan Carter (an actual teen starlet herself known in the music world as JoJo) star
