TV Best Bets: There’s still trash to watch after ‘Housewives’

Alan Jackson, local teacher’s story, holiday specials also on the tube

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Friday, November 28, 2008

Sure, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” are taking a breather, but there’s plenty of trashy TV to watch, from the finale of that Paris Hilton reality show on VH1 Tuesday to the “Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show” on CBS Wednesday.

And local connections are scattered all over the dial: Tyler Perry’s “House of Payne” is back on Wednesday with fresh episodes while Georgian Alan Jackson gets some love on CMT Saturday night. Plus, check out local teacher Brad Cohen’s “based on a true story” film on CBS Sunday.
