The marriage of Jon and Kate Gosselin, stars of the reality show “Jon and Kate Plus 8,” is beyond repair, the couple’s in-laws say.

In a video interview with the celebrity Web site RadarOnline.com, Kate’s brother Kevin Kreider and his wife Jodi say the marriage is “over.”

Kevin Krieder, 32, was quoted as saying, “Six months ago Kate came to Jon and said, ‘Hey, it’s over.’ “

Rumors have swirled that the couple are both having extramarital affairs, Jon with a third-grade school teacher and Kate with with her bodyguard. Both Jon and Kate have denied having affairs.

Jodi Krieder told Radar that “the show is not reality, and has not been for a long time. This is a train wreck.”

“Their family is in shambles,” Kevin Krieder said.

Both Kevin and Jodi Krieger have appeared in past seasons of Jon and Kate Plus 8.
