Back in 1979 when a couple of guys from Buffalo, New York, made a pit stop in Atlanta on their way to Florida, they decided to stay and bring their favorite food, buffalo wings, to the sunny South. Thus, Taco Mac was born, and in 2017 they’re officially our favorite chain in Atlanta.
Chick-fil-A comes in the No. 2 spot with ease. With over 1,700 restaurants nationwide, its humble beginnings started in Atlanta’s Greenbriar Shopping Center in 1967 by Truett Cathy. Their chicken has become one of legend around these parts.
