Atlanta Symphony Orchestra: Grand Opening Celebration. Robert Spano and the ASO open metro Atlanta's new outdoor music facility with Broadway fanfares, including "On the Town" and "Carousel." The Alpharetta and Milton high school marching bands join the orchestra on "Seventy-Six Trombones." The Marcus Roberts Trio plays Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," and the ASO Chorus closes with the final movement of Beethoven's Symphony No. 9, "Ode to Joy." 8 p.m. $21-$75.
