Hundreds of runners, many in somewhat strange costumes and plenty wearing mustaches, braved the rain and participated in the Stache Dash 5k through the streets of Buckhead.

What a weekend! Cinco de Mayo, Bark in the Park, Shaky Knees Festival

Even the rain couldn't stop the fun this weekend as Atlanta played host to a number of Cinco de Mayo events, dogs headed to Turner Field for Bark in the Park and shaky knees were dancing in the mud.

  • Pro golfer Davis Love III is looking to take a pitching wedge to his massive plantation in St. Simons Island, GA. One of the PGA Tour’s most consistent golfers during the mid-1980’s and 90’s, Love III has banked more than $42 million over the course of a 28-year pro career – and he’ll add $5.5 million to his purse if he’s able to get his asking price for the prized equestrian estate.
  • Known simply as ‘Sinclair Farm’, Love III’s stately ranch was designed by architect Lamar Webb and later built by Doug Lane in 1998.
  • Flush in live oak trees, palms and 354 feet of private marsh frontage, the 5-acre property offers the utmost in privacy and seclusion, while being just a short drive away from Sea Island and Brunswick.
  • A sprawling 10,253-square-foot main residence, which boasts beamed ceilings and rustic, hardwood finishes, offers five bedrooms and seven baths, while outside, a 3,360-square-foot horse barn and stables, and a sizeable pool and outdoor kitchen round out the pro golfer’s trophy home.

  • The master suite beckons with a private terrace and large spa-like master bath.
  • Other features include a home theater, roof terrace, pool, and a two-bedroom guest house. The home is listed with the Jills team of Jill Eber and Jill Hertzberg at Coldwell Banker.
  • Matt Damon has listed his Miami Beach mansion for $20 million.
  • The seven-bedroom home is on a double-lot, with 170 feet of Biscayne Bay frontage creating ideal water views from many rooms.
  • Damon, who also owns a home in Pacific Palisades, California, bought the home in 2005 for $10.3 million and then in 2006 picked up a neighboring waterfront lot for $4.2 million.
  • The home is owned in a trust with the trustee listed as Gary Kress (Kress is Damon’s business manager.)

  • Part of a rich, Washington-based basketball pipeline, Jason ‘JET’ Terry’s Seattle roots run deep – deep enough to tattoo his hometown’s area code, 206, on his chest. However, deep roots have not stopped the popular combo-guard from listing his luxury home on Mercer Island.
  • Purchased in early 2004 for $2.36 million, the Boston Celtics guard now looks to bank a cool $2.5 million for the King County estate.
  • Sited on a sprawling 2.9-acre lot, JET’s gated retreat measures 6,600 square feet in size, which is roughly the equivalent of 1.4 basketball courts.
  • The home opens to an open two-story foyer with a stairway leading to the second floor. Each of the home’s six bedrooms features a private bath and French doors that open to a wrap-around deck, while a palatial master suite includes a fireplace, siting area and spa-like bathroom with a steam shower, heated stone flooring and a bidet. Besides its dramatic entryway, Terry’s estate also has its own elevator, along with other luxuries ranging from a home theater to a wine cellar to a separate nanny’s quarters.
  • The latest listing marks the second time in less than a year that the 2009 NBA Sixth Man of the Year has made a move involving his real estate portfolio. Back in May of 2012, Terry put his 6,325-square-foot mansion in Atlanta, GA on the market for $1.89 million (that particular property is currently pending sale).
