Even the rain couldn't stop the fun this weekend as Atlanta played host to a number of Cinco de Mayo events, dogs headed to Turner Field for Bark in the Park and shaky knees were dancing in the mud.

  • with mustache wearing guys and gals...
  • and an assortment of other odd attire...
  • for the Stache Dash 5k.
  • The Stache Dash was Nacho Average 5k...get it?
  • The Stache Dash 5k was a benefit for the One Love Generation, a tax-exempt, non-profit organization that empowers youth to inspire positive local change through art, service and awareness.
  • Hundreds of people braved the bad weather with their stache and sombrero in tow, ready for the big race.
  • Organizers noted it might not be YOUR best RUN, but it will be THE best RUN! Costumes are encouraged. Dance offs will happen. Prizes will be given. Giddy up!
  • Racers were quite the spectacle jogging down Peachtree Street.
