Open to Suggestion?

(HealthScoutNews) -- If you're in need or want of hypnosis therapy, make sure you get it when you'll be most receptive to it.

And that means you should consider these findings from the American Journal of Clinical Hypnosis. Researchers from the Pacifica Graduate Institute tried hypnotherapy on two groups of people, and divided them into Larks and Owls.

Larks are people who are bright and fresh in the morning, even without coffee. Owls are the people who are at their best in the evening.

Larks, it seems, are most easily hypnotized in the evening, while owls are most responsive to hypnosis in the morning.

The researchers also recruited a control group, which had hypnotherapy sessions at around midnight. The study found that nobody responds well at that hour.
