Cranial mononeuropathy III - diabetic type is a disorder resulting in double vision and eyelid drooping, associated with decreased function of cranial nerve III as a complication of diabetes.
Causes and Risks Cranial mononeuropathy III - diabetic type is a mononeuropathy (damage to a single nerve). It involves the 3rd cranial (oculomotor) nerve, one of the cranial nerves that controls eye movement. Damage is usually associated with diabetic neuropathy.
