Sialolithiasis
Symptoms Signs and Tests An examination of the head and neck by the health care provider or dentist shows one or more enlarged, tender salivary glands. The stone may be palpable during examination.
Note: Symptoms are most pronounced when eating or drinking.
Facial X-rays confirm the diagnosis.
