Question:
Can pain in the jaw or teeth be an indication of a heart attack?
Answer:
Sometimes. Heart pain can radiate to the jaw and teeth. It cannot be emphasized enough that a heart attack may have symptoms other than chest pain and these symptoms should be evaluated immediately. See chest pain and acute MI.
Pain in the upper teeth may also indicate a sinus infection. One should contact a physician immediately to have this symptom evaluated.
