Nutrients in salads
Information
Question:
Is eating salads a good way to get your daily nutrients?
Answer:
That depends on what is in the salad. If you have plenty of vegetables in the salad (the darker colored vegetables are generally healthier), then you are getting more disease-fighting nutrients. Beware of dressings, oils, or mayonnaise in your salads. These may add unhealthy levels of fat to your salad. See diet-heart disease.
