Neurologic deficit
Information The existence of a problem in the neurological system (brain, spinal cord, muscles, and nerves) that results in decreased neurologic function. Examples include inability to speak, decreased sensation, loss of balance, weakness, cognitive dysfunction, visual changes, abnormal reflexes, and problems walking amongst other things. See also focal neurologic deficits.
