Cervix
Information The cone shaped neck of the uterus that protrudes into the vagina. It is about one inch long, and is penetrated by the cervical canal (the os), which permits the menstrual period and fetus to pass from the uterus into the vagina, and sperm to pass from the vagina into the uterus.
