MOST POPULAR

It's not technically a sangria, but the Peargria martini has joined the ranks as a signature drink at One Midtown Kitchen. Pear Grey Goose, cellar reserve port and a splash of cranberry juice combine for an elegant twist on the classic recipe.

$9.95. 559 Dutch Valley Road, Atlanta. 404-892-4111, www.onemidtownkitchen.com.

DUNWOODY

Eclipse di Luna

This popular, refreshing cocktail makes the wait manageable at the always-busy tapas spot. It's made with red and white wine, triple sec, brandy, sprite, pineapple and cranberry juices, simple syrup and fruit. It's chilled in the fridge for six to 10 hours, then served over ice and garnished with pineapples, lemons, limes and oranges.

$7.50 per glass, $15 for a three-glass carafe; $25 for a five-glass pitcher. 4505 Ashford-Dunwoody Road, Suite 11, 678-205-5862. Also located at 764 Miami Circle, Buckhead, 404-846-0449, www.eclipsediluna.com.

EAST ATLANTA

Holy Taco

Red sangria's on the menu, too, but the white is original and extra refreshing on a hot day. A medium-bodied, slightly effervescent white wine is mixed with a simple-syrup concoction that includes plums, peaches, nectarines, oranges, bay leaves and cinnamon cooked up by chef Robert Phelan. The cocktail is finished with a tiny splash of Maison Prunier, a cognac with a hint of orange to add a little sweetness. Served over ice.

$6 by the glass, $22 for a five-glass pitcher. 1314 Glenwood Ave., East Atlanta. 404-230-6177, www.holy-taco.com.
