Michael J. Fox guests on ‘Rescue Me;’ ‘Law & Order: Criminal Intent’ returns

This week, we get plenty of love from some ’70s and ’80s icons — Micael J. Fox on FX’s “Rescue Me” on Tuesday, Mike Farrell of “M*A*S*H” on CBS’s “Without a Trace” and a Barry Williams (“Brady Brunch”) sighting on ABC’s “Scrubs” Wednesday, to name a few.
And Robert Goren fans, rejoice: fresh episodes of “Law & Order: Criminal Intent” return Sunday night. on USA Network. And the final run of episodes of Fox’s “Prison Break” begin Friday night (pushed from its former home on Monday.)
MONDAY
• “The Big Bang Theory,” 8 p.m. CBS — A comic-loving pal of the guys tries to chase after nerd-lovin’ Penny.
• “Chuck,” 8 p.m. NBC — Chuck tries to save his dad (Scott Bakula) by going back to an ex girlfriend who has betrayed him before.
• “Dancing With the Stars,” 8 p.m. ABC — What? Steve-O is still around?
• “24,” 9 p.m. Fox — Hodges works a little blackmail magic on the prez while Jack’s daughter returns — perhaps to save his life.
• “Heroes,” 9 p.m. NBC — Yes, some folks are still watching! Angela reveals some deep dark secrets.
• “Saving Grace,” 10 p.m. TNT (season finale) — Grace discovers Leon has a connection with her late sister just as he’s about to get executed.
TUESDAY
• “American Idol,” 8 p.m. Fox — It’s movie theme night with Quentin Tarantino helping out. He was the best guest judge ever on “Idol” season three.
• “Biggest Loser: Couples,” 9 p.m. NBC — Tim Gunn comes by to give some fashion advice.
• “Dancing With the Stars,” 9 p.m. ABC — Rascal Flatts is the musical guest.
• “Deadliest Catch,” 9 p.m. Discovery (season debut) — The network’s most popular reality show is back. Has the turbulent economy hurt the fishermen?
• “Without a Trace,” 10:01 p.m. CBS — M*A*S*H vet MIke Farrell plays a billionaire who lost his son.
• “Rescue Me,” 10 p.m. FX — Michael J. Fox is a hoot as a pill-poppin’ boyfriend of Janet’s. And the guys go ga ga over the French gal doing a book on 9/11.
WEDNESDAY
• “America’s Next Top Model,” 8 p.m. the CW — Atlanta’s Ciara shows up to help out the gals and maybe give Natalie an attitude adjustment.
• “American Idol,” 9 p.m. Fox — Miley Cyrus and Jennifer Hudson perform as seven become six.
• “Lost,” 9 p.m. ABC — Miles and Hurley, having already given us a funny interplay about time travel two weeks ago, have to deliver a package to a Dharma VIP.
• “Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List,” 9 p.m. Bravo — Kathy’s back with a special before the Bravo “A List Awards,” which she’s hosting at 10 p.m.
• “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne,” 10 p.m. TBS — Ella and Rosie gets jobs at a boutique
• “Scrubs,” 2:05 a.m. ABC — Groovy baby! Check out Barry Williams of “The Brady Bunch”! The show was bumped at 8 p.m. for a WSB news special.
THURSDAY
• “Survivor: Tocantins,” 8 p.m. CBS — Joe’s injury meant no tribal council and no attempted blindside of Brendan by Coach & Co. So much scheming, so little time!
• “Bones,” 8 p.m. Fox — Bones delves into the death in a death metal band. Ah.. the irony!
• “Parks & Recreation,” 8:30 p.m. NBC — Leslie convinces a reporter to write about the park she wants to build but naturally, the story takes a left turn.
• “Hell’s Kitchen,” 9 p.m. Fox — Gordon Ramsay last week shut down Hell’s Kitchen after a lousy dinner service. Is this is just a gimmick or something tangible?
• “The Office,” 9 p.m. NBC — Dwight’s loyalties are tested between Michael and the new boss.
• “Southland,” 10 p.m. NBC — Could Ben McKenzie (“The O.C.”) been any duller last week? Maybe he’ll show some actual acting chops this week.

• “Wife Swap,” 8 p.m. ABC — The swap this week: a family that’s “off the electronic grid” and a materialistic one. Clash time!
• “Prison Break” 9 p.m. Fox (spring debut) — Michael and Sarah hitchike to Miami.
• “Stranger Among Bears,” 10 p.m. Animal Planet (new series) — Cameraman Richard Terry receives a rude welcome to Bear Haven when he’s caught between a mama black bear and her cub.
• “The First Columbine,” 10 p.m. WE — A documentary of what is considered the first American school shooting in 1979.
• “Head Case,” 10 p.m. Starz — Geri Halliwell from Spice Girls fame shows off her country side.
• “Party Down,” 10:30 p.m. Starz — Ron may have some racier things in store for himself at an adult-industry party.
WEEKEND
• “Cribs,” 7:30 p.m. tonight CMT — CMT checks in the homes of Macon’s Jason Aldean, Savannah’s Paula Dean and Jamie O’Neal .
• “Grey Gardens,” 8 p.m. tonight HBO — Drew Barrymore and Jessica Lange star in this fictionalized version of Big Edie and Little Edie Bouvier Beale.
• “Kings,” 8 p.m. tonight NBC — Poor ratings forced NBC to push this to the dead zone on Saturday.
• “Loving Natalee: A Mother’s Testament of Hope and Faith,” 8 p.m. Sunday Lifetime Movie Network — A grueling biopic with Tracy Pollan playing a mom.
• “Sit Down, Shut Up,” 8:30 p.m. Sunday Fox (new series) — Will Arnett, Jason Bateman and Henry Winkler lend voices to this new animated show about life at a Florida high school.
• “My Fake Fiance,” 8 p.m. Sunday ABC Family — Two broke schemers (Melissa Joan Hart and Joey Lawrence) get married for the financial perks. Huh?
• “Celebrity Apprentice,” 9 p.m. Sunday NBC — Donald Trump didn’t dump Clint Black last week though he certainly deserved it for his self-congratulatory All commercial.
• “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” 9 p.m. Sunday USA (season debut) — Goren and Eames are back.
• “In Plain Sight,” 10 p.m. Sunday USA (season debut) — Mary suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder but can’t stay on administrative leave.
