Planning the perfect date night for the holiday season? Attractions in Atlanta offer one-of-a-kind experiences neither of you will forget.

5ChurchA Christmas Carol
Kind of the reverse of the old wedding rhyme, try something new and something old. The new is 5Church, still new to the Atlanta dining scene but now open long enough to get the kinks out. It's at Colony Square, one of Atlanta's oldest mixed-use developments that's under new ownership and is still evolving. The old, of course is our beloved "A Christmas Carol" at the Alliance Theatre, practically across the street from 5Church. It's a good pairing.

Garden Lights, Holiday Nights + Café at Linton's in the Garden Grab your tickets to Garden Lights, Holiday Nights at Atlanta Botanical Garden in advance, then make your reservation at Chef Linton Hopkins' restaurant.

A Christmas Story: The Musical + Cypress Street Go casual and dine at Cypress Street Pint & Plate before you head to The Fox Theatre and enjoy a night of laughs while watching the acclaimed musical.

SkyView Atlanta + Ice Skating at Centennial Olympic Park
Soar nearly 20 stories in the air on the SkyView Atlanta Ferris wheel and gaze below at the holiday lights throughout Centennial Olympic Park. After the ride, take a walk through the park and head to the rink for a night to remember.

Spend time with your date in Marietta, taking in a Christmas revue at The Earl Smith Strand Theatre. Then skate in Glover Park and indulge in some OTP dining at The Butcher, The Baker.

SCAD Fash + Tavernpointe Tired of all the holiday-centric things to do? If your date loves fashion, visit Atlanta's new fashion museum at SCAD Atlanta (it's open til 8 p.m. on Thursdays). Afterward, head across the street to Tavernpointe for a modern dining experience from Chef Drew Van Leuvan of Seven Lamps and GRAIN.
