It's true, Atlantans love to consume the best food, drinks and entertainment, but we also enjoy burning off some steam in the great outdoors.

This week's Best of Atlanta poll found out where your favorite hiking trails are around town.

Coming in first place, the Kennesaw Mountain trails are the perfect distance away from all the hustle and bustle of Atlanta to feel as if you've escaped to a beautiful, and historical, hiking location. You'll find a trail that's just the right distance for you, with a wide variety of options.

Retreat to our second place winner, Stone Mountain walk-up and Cherokee trails, and tower high above Atlanta with spectacular views atop one of our city's favorite tourist attractions. There's lots to explore down below, too.

Hike the Chattahoochee River on the East Palisades Trail which climbs to beautiful views from towering bluffs and winds through a small bamboo forest. This third place winner is a city treasure.

Wander as far as you like on our other official nominee trails:  Vickery Creek Trail at Roswell MillSweetwater Creek State Park TrailsArabia Mountain TrailsDoll’s Head Trail and Powers Island Trail.
