Can store-bought sweet tea taste like homemade?

Many of us have tried tea in a can or bottle that claims to be ” just like homemade.” But is it truly possible to mass-produce a sweet tea whose tastes even approaches that of home-brewed? Give us your opinion.

I’m a Georgia peach, and I love sweet tea that’s brewed. That stuff in the store is a joke. It’s horrible. So is Burger King’s. Brew your tea America!

Milos is the best sweet tea from the store. I was presently suprised to find it at Wal-Mart in Acworth. Before, I would buy it when visiting my folks in Alabama

I rarely even try tea bought from a store. The stuff at Publix is not TOO bad…

You right sweettealover…the crap at BK is nasty…McDonalds is ok, though I refuse to eat there anymore

In the end I prefer to just make my own at home

if you want some real good, down home, family dinner table, save some in the pockets of your mouth, make you slow down and relax, happiness in a bottle sweet tea- then you need to try Southern Water. This team has put together a brew that is so good and delicious that you can only buy it in half gallon sizes at select grocers but they will deliver to you by the case. Since the first day i tried it at my girlfriends house i’ve been hooked. Milo’s, Delta Blues Iced Tea, Sweet Leaf, Nestea and Arizona have nothing on this. Trust me, if you don; like it I’ll but you a bottle. It’s that good. check them out online- www.leftoversatlanta.com or call 678-613-7741.

My mother-in-law’s sweet tea is the best. I was finally able to duplicate it at home. For awhile I was convinced she added some secret ingredient, but finally I got the right amount of sugar and VOILA!

McD’s tea is ok if they make it right. A lot of times it tastes horrible. Most fast food restaurants cannot make decent tea. I’ve tried Milos before. It’s ok but its so easy just to make it at home. I’ll check into that Southern Water tea.

Oh, and I know you true southern girls cannot stand the northern girls that come down here and order unsweet tea and put nasty cancer-causing sweet-n-low in it! That makes me so mad!! Either drink REAL sweet tea or nothing at all. Pansies - they all think they are fat.

I have never had sweet tea in a bottle that comes close to home brewed sweet tea and given the amount of perservatives, coloring and other things the FDA requires being put into bottled food, I doubt there can be.

As for restaurants, Chick-fil-a has the consistantly best fast food sweet tea.

Try Gold Peak sweet tea, I am a sweet tea lover and this bottled tea is pretty good.
